Welcome to Mountain Lodge 270, your home away from home and a stunningly decorated place to spend your next Snowshoe Mountain vacation getaway! With expansive views of the mountains and slopes, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better spot since this is one of the BEST locations in the lodge!
This impressive 3-bedroom/3-bathroom property is on the second floor, sleeps eleven guests, and is one of the nicest 3-bedroom units in Mountain Lodge. If you’re looking for the perfect place for large groups or special occasions, look no further! With 1,246 square feet, you’ll absolutely love the spaciousness of this unit! Mountain Lodge 270 features an expanded kitchen with beautiful countertops and plenty of cabinet space. It comes fully stocked with all the basics you'll need to prepare, cook, and serve mouthwatering meals.
Within the expanded space, you’ll find plateware, utensils, pots and pans, single-serve Keurig, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and toaster. Or, if you’re tired of preparing your own meals, consider a short stroll to the magical Snowshoe mountain top village to peruse its numerous shopping and dining options.
Enjoy coming together and sitting down with your group at the beautiful wooden kitchen table which can accommodate up to eight people where you can catch up and talk about the fun times you had during the day or plan out the next day’s adventures.
From the living room, enjoy a cup of tea, coffee, a glass of wine, or a good book and take in the natural landscape and amazing views right outside your window! Kick back and cozy up on the sofa during cold nights or unwind watching TV with your group. You can also take in the fresh mountain air from the brand-new 7’x14’ deck and be inspired by the unspoiled nature of the mountains!
For your relaxation, comfort, and a peaceful night of sleep, retreat to the sanctuary of one of the three bedrooms, two of which have a Queen bed and one which has five twin beds. For additional sleeping capacity, there is also a sofa bed in the bedroom to accommodate two additional people.
In the hall, you’ll appreciate all the hooks to store your jackets, ski, and board equipment.
Your housekeeping package includes linens for each bedroom (sheets and pillowcases) and bathroom (towels, washcloths, and a bath mat), a dish towel, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, liquid dish soap (for hand washing), powdered dish detergent (for the dishwasher), bath soap bars, and coffee filters. Please let our friendly front desk staff if you need to swap out linens or resupply the sundries provided.

THE RESORT:
At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find activities and adventures to keep all your family members happy. ● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and five terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, consider the many other activities available such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and the Snowshoe spa, to name a few. ● Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing on the sandy beach by Shavers Lake, etc.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: ● Mountain Lodge features equipment lockers for rent (each holds up to two mountain bikes), for $15/per day on a first-come/first-serve basis, an arcade for the kids and young at heart, an inviting lobby built around a large fireplace (lit in the winter), laundry facilities, conference rooms, and a prime location that’s just a quick walk to Snowshoe’s main high-speed quad lift, Split Rock Pools, Wildcat Grocery, and the St. Bernard Chapel. ● Please be courteous and considerate of the other guests and abide by the quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. ● Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties in the condo. ● Free bus shuttles are available from the Village to Top of the Mountain, and to Silver Creek for night skiing. Reach the Western Territory by way of the Silver Creek shuttle. ● If you need additional accommodations, please ask me about my other condos in the Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
PETS: We absolutely adore our furry friends and wish you could bring them with you. Unfortunately, Mountain Lodge does not allow guests to bring pets of any type. As such, we have to insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you. Service animals must be registered when you check-in at the front desk.
EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee check-in prior to 5:00 PM. Mountain Lodge may be able to accommodate your request for an earlier check-in as long as the room is clean and set up.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.
PARKING: Your reservation includes parking for up to as many vehicles as there are bedrooms in the condo you’ve booked. Any additional vehicles will be allowed to unload passengers and luggage at the Mountain Lodge main entrance, but will then need to find parking outside of the Mountain Lodge parking lot. We welcome you to park for free at the Top of the World (left out of Mountain Lodge parking lot; one mile up the road). From there, you can take the shuttle to the Village, and walk to Mountain Lodge. It is imperative that you move your vehicle(s) out of the Mountain Lodge parking lot immediately following check-out, as the lot is not large enough to accommodate vehicles of incoming Guests in addition to those of departing Guests.

Great condo with immediate access to the lift with amazing views of the lake and mountains. For the price though I would expect central air. Got lucky and the weather was in the 70's and small HVAC unit worked well enough.

Great location, clean
Unit was exactly as advertised. Clean and spacious. Building is great location very close to village and true ski in/out. Building itself is a little dated and the unit had a fried food smell lingering the first day … maybe ditch the air fryer?

Quiet and cozy with a great view
Check in was great the owners answered all my questions about the property and were very accurate We were even able to check in a hour early. The location of the property was within walking distance of the trails. The property was clean had everything we needed except food, the only downside was there was an air conditioner but it was portable and did little to cool down the rooms. Other that that my friends and I had a great time and are looking forward to going back next year

Exactly what we expected
The checkin process was late which messed up our plans a bit - they did communicate that it might be, so appreciated that but hard to plan. They condo itself was perfect - well stocked and nice layout for a group.

This property was great! It was very clean and in a great location (only 2 min walk to village). Family was able to go out side entrance to top of slopes. The bedrooms are very warm even in winter and we had to use fans and open up doors to cool off condo. Otherwise, it had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

It was absolutely perfect. We had 8 adults with 3 children and had plenty of room. The hosts were so helpful and responsive. The unit was modern and clean. The location was great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Couldn’t have been better.

Great Condo
We had a wonderful stay at the condo, with its comfortable amenities and beautiful views. However, the Wifi was quite disappointing. It was slow and very unreliable, which made it challenging to stay connected and get work done during my stay. The wifi router provided by the ISP was very low quality and struggled to provide adequate coverage throughout the spacious condo.

The room property was fine the Mountain Inn is more dated than I had anticipated.
Problem was the HVAC. The bunk room , hallway bedroom and primary bedroom were hot and stuffy. Uncomfortable for sleeping.

Loved our stay!
Enjoyed the accommodations, it was perfect for our family! Very close to everything, ski right out and condo was the reason we chose this place. The village had a lot of cute shops and restaurants. I would recommend getting reservations or cooking at your place. It was extremely busy and had long wait times.
