Complimentary assigned covered parking for one car. Vehicle must be under 6' 8" in height. Additional cars must register with the parking department and purchase a parking pass, $15/day, for the nearby lots.


This large studio is ideal for a small family, one couple or a few of friends traveling together. With the fully equipped kitchen, your group can enjoy breakfast together in the morning or dinner in the evening. The condo is so convenient you can even come back from your activities for lunch! You will find an outdoor pool and hot tub on site with great views of the ski area. Skiing in the winter and hiking and mountain biking in the summer right from the property. Just a short walk away, you will find the Elk Camp Gondola which will take you up the mountain to the Lost Forrest for zip lining, ropes course, fishing and more. In the winter, take the kiddos over in the morning for their lesson and pop back over to the condo to enjoy another cup of coffee before you hit the slopes! In the evening when you want to dine out, it is just an easy stroll back to the condo after enjoying a wonderful dinner at one of Snowmass's many restaurants. Shops, restaurants, children's ski school and the gondola and chairlifts are just next door. Your stay at this condo will be a relaxing and enjoyable one!

The Lichenhearth Condominiums are located right at the base of Snowmass Mountain. Hike, mountain bike or ski right down to the property at the end of the day. Enjoy a quick ride up on the elevator back to your condo and rest those weary ski legs in front of the wood burning fireplace. You can also relax on the outdoor patio with great views of the surrounding mountains in Snowmass. Grill your favorite dinner on the deck while you soak up that view. For days when you want to ski another mountain, the transit center with free buses to Aspen, Buttermilk or Aspen Highlands, is located just a block down hill from the Lichenhearth complex.

***Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort***
Portable AC units for the bedrooms are available for rent. Limited quantity available - please check for availability before confirming your stay if AC is needed.

If your home has a wood burning fireplace we provide a starter supply of wood. Additional stock of these items are available for purchase at the local grocery stores.

Nice view of mountains from balcony, lots of room for storage, well stocked kitchen, quiet building with elevator, assigned covered parking, keyless entry, spacious. It had everything I needed plus. I would stay again.

Love the location. Third time staying in the Lichenhearth and we love it. Easy to ski in and change boots for Apres Ski as Base Village. The property manager makes everything easy.

This condo was newly renovated and it was perfect for a couple or maybe a small family. Very clean, every detail was thought out. Plenty of towels, tissues, toiletries, kitchen supplies. Comfortable bed too.

There are so many great things about this property, but they are somewhat overshadowed by some negatives. First, it’s a great location and you literally walk out the back and you have a short distance to a gondola and lifts.Prior to arrival, we had excellent communication with the property manager and check-in was seamless. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking necessities and they are all in excellent condition. This was important to us as we like to cook breakfast prior to heading to the mountain. The bed was also excellent and brand new. The head of the bed is situated in what was once a large closet and unfortunately there were not any outlets nearby to plug in any electronics. The bathroom is somewhat outdated, but had a new cabinet. Unfortunately the top drawer was not attached to metal slides within it and when my wife pulled out the drawer to place some items inside, it almost fell on her foot.On our second day, I received a text asking how everything was going and I brought up what happened and I got crickets. I later asked if there was an iron and ironing board and again…crickets. I didn’t receive another text until just prior to checkout.All in all, this property is in a great location and it seemed to be a little bit lower in price compared to the surrounding area. So would I stay here again(?), probably, for all the reasons noted. I just hope the property owner can address some of the issues we experienced.
