Recently remodeled, this prime 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo in the heart of Snowmass Village offers fresh wood floors, new bathrooms, and spectacular mountain views. Location is unbeatable: just a two-minute walk to free buses that reach anywhere in the valley, a five-minute stroll to Snowmass Center, grocery stores, and restaurants, and less than a mile from Snowmass Base Village and Snowmass Mall with easy access to all on-mountain activities. No need to cross the road. The unit is connected to the mountain by a pedestrian foot and ski bridge, and experienced skiers can even ski home at the end of the day!

The two spacious bedrooms each feature an attached bathroom with brand-new luxury showers, backlit makeup mirrors, and beautiful tilework. The master bedroom offers a king bed, while the living room has a full-size queen sleeper sofa for extra guests. A brand-new washer and dryer make mid-stay laundry easy.

The main living area is bright and sunny, with mountain-facing windows that fill the space with light year-round. Curl up by the electric fireplace after a day on the slopes or trails. The open kitchen is fully equipped and spacious enough to host a few friends. Step outside to the large balcony with sweeping views of Snowmass Ski Area, the valley, and the golf course. A private grill makes it perfect for summer and winter BBQs. A bistro table and two patio chairs make for the perfect setting to enjoy the mountains while you sip on your morning coffee.

Additional amenities include access to a shared hot tub with the complex and direct access to the RFTA and Snowmass shuttle lines, offering free rides to all ski areas, Aspen, Snowmass Base Village, and the Mall. This property is on the second floor on a hillside, requiring stairs to enter as if on the third floor of a flat-ground building. There is no elevator.

***Please note, there is no AC in the unit. To keep the temperature comfortable, we recommend opening the windows in the evening to enjoy the cool mountain air and closing them during the day to maintain a balanced temperature. Additional fans are available upon request

The place was nice and clean. Just some things to note: there are many stairs to get into the room, so elderly or people with ambulation problems might find this difficult. Also, there is no air conditioning and no screens on the windows or doors. Going in the spring (June) wasn’t terrible heat wise with all the doors and windows open, but you definitely run the risk of bugs and critters coming in.

Great rental in Snowmass Village

We had a wonderful week in Snowmass village. The apartment was super conveniently located. Snowmass Village shuttle was just outside the front door, stop for RFTA bus to Aspen was 3 minute walk. Staying here, there is definitely no need for car rental. Apartment was spacious, well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Manager was very responsive to few questions that came up during our stay. Would definitely stay again when visiting Snowmass/Aspen for ski trip.

Overall this was an excellent property, clean with plenty of room all the amenities and easy access with your skis to Assay Hill lift I would definitely come back if we ski Snowmass again.Only comment the sliding door in the master bedroom is pretty loud in the middle of the light. It looks nice though

Winter ski trip

Everything was nice other than there was no WiFi or TV for the first 48 hours. The property manager was responsive but said there was an HOA at the building that controlled it so it was out of his hands. It was all of sudden fixed Monday without anyone entering the unit indicating it was a simple fix on their end but we had to wait till Monday when someone from the HOA was actually working. Hot tub is not a walkable distance in cold temperatures. We drove our car.

Snowmass Getaway!

My wife and I were visiting Snowmass to get away from the Texas heat and attend JAS Snowmass Aspen. This rental was in a great location! We were a short walk from a bus stop and walking distance from a grocery store and the lower mall of Snowmass Village (which has terrific restaurants). The rental was the perfect size for us. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were new and modern. We could tell the unit was recently renovated. It looked great. The balcony has a nice view too. We would definitely rent again.

Nice location but a lot of Stairs

While the unit itself was quite nice we were not aware of the extensive stairs we needed to climb to get into our unit. The parking was at least a full floor below the first floor units and our unit was on the 2nd floor. Our aunt and uncle were with us. They are both in their mid 80s and were visiting from Florida to attend our nephews wedding. Needless to say climbing essentially 2 plus floors at an elevation of +/- 8000 ft. made it quite difficult. for them. The information on this unit and its location did not mention the stairs. This might be something others might like to be aware of. The bedroom doors did not close/latch securely. We had to prop something against them to keep them closed. We were not given the lock box combination to initially get into the unit. We called the management company and they were able to provide it. Although we did not make use of the pool just be aware that the photos give the impression that it is directly adjacent to the unit. It is not. You have to walk up the drive to get to it.

Nice central Snowmass stay

Wonderful communication from Skippy, the manager. Easy to access property with parking, on the second floor. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Stayed a couple of nights after completing the Ragnar Relay and it was close to trails, the bus to Aspen, and restaurants in Snowmass. Nice central walking spot. We would stay here again!

Excellent condo

The condo unit is exactly as pictured in the photos. Good location. It is certainly ski in ski out, just need to cross a pedestrian lift and there is a lift behind the viceroy hotel. If you are going to ski school then it is at the base, another lift. The property is clean, and overall updated and maintained as described. Good heating system too which is very much needed during winter season. Property is on a 2nd floor (get ready for short flight of stairs with luggage). Property manager responds promptly. Easy check in and check out. I would stay again!

Clean and great location

This property is nicely updated. It's an old structure but it's been redecorated really cute, and it's very clean. It worked well for our family of four. The bathrooms are recently redone and very nice. The best thing about the condo is the location - it's super easy to walk over the bridge to the Assay Lift, and to ski back very close to the building. The condo doesn't come with designated parking but we had no problem getting a spot right out front. The manager Skippy was very responsive and easy to work with.

Awesome place

This two bedroom condo was short walk (down 2 short flight of stairs at condo). To get to Assay hill ski lift, out the back of condo up a flight of stairs then over a short bridge, done. It has some nice views from front deck. Easily can jump on free shuttle right at the front of condo. Skippy, the property manager was very responsive, polite, and helpful! I would definitely use him and book this place again.

I was staying in Snowmass Village and working in Aspen—our condo was convenient and offered access to lots of outdoor activities as well as nearby restaurants. The best of both worlds for this trip.

We were pleased with this 2 bed/ 2 bath condo. It is conveniently located to grocery store and the base of Snowmass. Parking was easy. the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the nice shaded balcony overlooking the mountain. Probably the best part of this VRBO was the management company and contact person, Skippy. He was quick to answer all of our texts and phone calls. He took care of everything quickly and efficiently. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location with just what you need

This property is located in an ideal spot if you're looking for Snowmass Village convenience without the in-village pricing. Located just across the wooden bridge at the base of Assay Hill, it's a short walk in the morning up to the lift and your day on the slopes, and in the afternoon you can ski across the bridge and nearly to your door. Skiing home was a highlight for the kids. If you're not up for the walk in the morning, the free village commuter bus picks up outside the front door every 10 mins or so. Accomodations were comfortable for 5. The beds were comfortable and the linens were great! There were a few hiccups initially driven by quick guest change overs, but were easily resolved. The pull out couch isn't that comfortable, so stays more than a few nights with more than 4 people might be tough. We ate in most mornings and nights with the kids, and the kitchen had the needed tools to get the basics done. With the combination of location, price and convenience to the slopes, would certainly look to stay here again when we're next in Snowmass for skiing.
