  • Bienvenido a "Snoring Shores", nuestra casa de vacaciones en la segunda fila, perfecta para unas vacaciones familiares en la playa.

    Esta casa de playa tiene 3 dormitorios, 2 baños y mucho espacio para disfrutar de su tiempo juntos. Disfrute de su café de la mañana en una gran terraza con vista al mar. La casa está en una calle tranquila a pocos metros del acceso público a la playa; que es dos casas abajo y al otro lado de la calle. Este extremo de la isla no tiene estacionamiento público en la playa, por lo que está menos concurrido que otras partes.

    La casa es una casa de vacaciones luminosa, limpia y actualizada que duerme 8 cómodamente con dos camas queen y 4 literas gemelas en la litera. La cocina está equipada con todo lo necesario para preparar comidas en la playa (cafetera, tostadora, licuadora, ollas, sartenes, tazas, platos, copas de vino y más).

    Del 16 de junio al 31 de agosto nos gusta alquilar de domingo a domingo con un mínimo de 7 días de estadía, sin embargo, tratamos de trabajar en todos los horarios.

We enjoyed our stay a bunch! There were a couple of small things that needed attention that were communicated and the host was very receptive. Overall, no complaints. It was so nice to be able to have my dog with me also!

Overall it was a good place to stay. The kitchen has an ant problem and we could not keep food on the counter or in the cabinets. The front living area smells of dog pee from previous tenants. The house could use a good cleaning as you could see the thick dust build up on the ceiling vent. We loved how close we were to the beach. Topsail was awesome.

The inside was very clean (which is very important to me) and having the laundry service drop off linens and towels was nice. There are only 4 chairs at the table so would make it difficult if you had 6 people. It was nice to also have the other side, so that half our family could stay there for a nice family vacation. Beach access is close by and an easy walk. The biggest issue we had was that the outside shower does not really work and you need to use the hose, and the garbage cans were very dirty and stinky and had maggots. Overall we had a great time.

Beach house

The beach house was a just walk to the beautiful ocean! The kitchen had enough pots, pans, etc for us to cook at home. The bunk house was cute and functional. It was a wonderful few days!

Annual Beach Trip

Perfect location, easy walk back and forth to the beach. No need to drag coolers to the beach. Quiet neighborhood, 15 min drive to grocery store, cvs and a couple of beach stores for souvenirs. House had everything we needed for a enjoyable stay.

Perfect get away

A perfect get away for my family. The place was just as advertised and was very clean. Host was quite responsive to questions. A dishwasher might have been nice but certainly not a deal breaker.

Great Mother's Day stay!

My family (husband, son, daughter and dog Maizey) stayed for the weekend for a relaxing Mother's Day and it was so nice! We love N Topsail and the house was just right! Plenty of space, everything we needed for our stay and a really short walk to the beach. It was so convenient having the hose and shower downstairs to rinse all of our stuff and our selves off after a day at the beach too - that was such a great bonus! We hope we can stay there again in the future!

Beautiful View of the beach from the stairs, nice clean spacious house, quiet area. Beach is right across the street. Unfortunately no access to the beach unless you walk down the street a good distance. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!!

Great house with a view of the ocean. Enjoyed this found gem for my daughters sweet 16 weekend with my family and friends. Perfect for 8. All question were answered in a timely manner. The laundry service provided was such a great addition by the owners.. Linens were clean and fresh. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet end of the island stay.

Short trip

We only stayed 2 nights at this property. When we checked in it was better than what I was expecting. The outdoor shower was very convenient! I also did not mind the short walk to the beach. The location was very quiet and the view of the ocean was beautiful. We brought our dogs along and this property was very accommodating for them. We arrived around 130 and the linen company dropped fresh linens around 3. Kudos to them, they were fantastic as well! The home was neat and clean on our arrival. I hope to book this property again next year for a LONGER stay!

Got to a property that was obviously closed up for a long time. We cleaned for 2 plus hours and made it tidy. The beach was terrible where the property is located we had to drive 6.3 miles to public parking to gain beach access. Not disclosed. The property was in a rural and nothing unique and neat it. Would highly recommend a more comprehensive write up. But suffice to say we will not be back.

A quiet stay, in a great location.

Communication with the host was great! Always prompt in responding. We had no issues with our stay overall. The rooms were clean. The linen service they used had everything ready to go when we arrived. The only slight issue we had was the wifi information was incorrect, but we were able to figure it out, well the teenagers did, I'm not a techy person. So not sure that I would have. That may need updated on the website, but really a minor issue. House is in an incredible location on a quiet street. It is close to an icecream shop, and a restaurant. It is also a short drive from the pier. Beach access was super close and my 81 year old grandma had no trouble with the short walk. Overall it was a great stay for a quick vacay. Will look into booking here in the future.

It was okay

The listing advertised a full range kitchen with utensils that could be used to prepare our meals. All of the utensils and supplies were dirty and had to be washed before using. There were no pots and pans to cook on the stove so must of our groceries went to waste. There was old food left in the fridge from the previous renter, the microwave was disgusting and was not cleaned before we arrived and there were tubs filled with linens that never got removed our whole stay even after messaging the owner about it. The location was great and the view was amazing, but the inside of the home itself could of been much better. Will be staying at a different beach house the next time our family comes.

Beware of damage scam

I stay on multiple properties on topsail each summer. This is the only one I have ever had an issue with the host. Beware of a damage scam with this property (which I’m currently disputing with my credit card and VRBO (and grateful for traveler protection/support)). Aside from the issue with the owner, generally the home has an issue with ants, the kitchen items weren’t clean, and the light switches are hit and miss on if they actually work. For a Wednesday-Sunday stay we decided not to complain because we were at the beach and could cope, but I wish I had sent my laundry list of issues over knowing how petty Christina P is willing to be.

False advertising of available amenities and an unnecessary extra charge.

While there is minimal beach access during low tide, it isn’t ideal for a family day at the beach. There is a public beach about a mile away that you can pay to park at though. Bring your water shoes for sure. After planning, prepping and shopping for the 5 days of cooking on a charcoal grill we found that there isn’t a grill. I asked the owner where it was located and they responded that they don’t have one. All of the information provided ahead of time and printed and framed in the living room included grill instructions. Although the house is cute, it could have been much cleaner and have better cookware. The location is beautiful and the sunrise was epic. Once we arrived home we received an email from the owner stating they have charged us an extra $220 fee for brining a dog that they captured on their camera. My dogs stayed in NY with my pet sitter and I most certainly did not being a dog into their home. I can promise they have zero proof of something that simply did not happen. Be careful with this location. We’ve been utilizing rental properties for several years now and this was our worst experience. We intentionally respected their home, left it cleaner than we found it and they still tried to add an extra fee.

Plumbing Issues!!

The location & beach was amazing!! Exactly what we were looking for to celebrate my sons 19th birthday!! The public access to the beach was just a short walk. The check-in process was easy, property was clean & linens already on site to make-up the beds. However, there is a MAJOR plumbing issue at this property! We noticed right away that there was very little water pressure. We accepted the fact that no 2 water sources could be on at the same time, no biggie. We also realized pretty quickly that we would need to wash our hands before flushing the commode or there wouldn’t be ANY water from the facets throughout the property to wash our hands. We messaged the property owner, Christina, right away to ask about the plumbing issue. Christina quickly responded that she would call the water company. The next day after spending the day at the beach there was barely enough water pressure to rinse the sand off, not even enough to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. I took videos of the water issues & messaged Christina again. She did not seem interested in the videos & stated that the island comes with some things. The next morning we spoke to the family staying in the yellow house right next door & they were not having the same issues with the water so I messaged Christina again. She stated that the issue could be related to the construction & she would call the water company again. By Saturday afternoon (day 3 of our 4 day reservation) the issue was supposably fixed. Christina stated that the water company didn’t turn the meter onto full pressure & that it had been fixed. Although there was a small improvement in the water pressure it was still subpar even for an island. The property is listed to sleep 8 people but myself & my mom were not even able to get one decent shower for our 4 night stay. Each day son was driving back to base after being at the beach in order to shower & wash our sandy beach clothes & towels. We adapted the best we could by buying gallons of water to rinse off with & wash dishes for our stay. As a travel nurse I have traveled all across the country staying in short term rentals, condos, huts, motels, RVs, etc. I have seen my fair share of rental issues & this hits the top of the list! Christina was prompt to respond until realizing the pressure issue wouldn’t be fixed during our stay. Final message was ignored after I suggested that compensation for the major plumbing issues was fair.
