"Tried this motel when my usual place was booked and others were expensive for LSU homecoming. Family run, they are friendly and seem to take pride in the property. Just one driveway in and out that goes by the front office, so felt secure. Arrived back from football game after midnight and was happy to see it well-lit, with a bright light above each door. "Great kitchen with all appliances but also staples like flour and other supplies for use in cooking/baking. I liked the windowless bedroom, cabinets were plentiful and well-stocked in kitchen, everything was very clean and enough towels. Toilet worked better when I poured additional water into tank. First time stay at place with no front desk. Remote person could have better explained timing of providing needed entry code. Only complaint."
