Charming , Where Modern meets Rustic in the same space . Very cozy and tucked away in the trees of the Red River Gorge...
The openness, high ceilings and rustic feel of the cabin is the total mountain experience you and your family will love.

Tanzanite is tucked back off of the main road in a private wooded area, which provides you with privacy and lots of peace and quiet. This 2 story family-oriented cabin has 2 Smart TV’s, as well as an outdoor entertainment space with a deck, grill, and a fire pit. You will also love the hi-speed wifi, and laundry area.
The Red River Gorge is just steps away from our fully equipped cabin.

★INTERIOR LIVING★
2 Smart TVs, queen pullout sofa, lounge reclining chair, King Bed, dining table and chairs & bar stools.

★BEDROOMS and BATHROOMS ★
Pullout soft bed will gel queen mattress
Upstairs Master Bedroom: King Bed with tempur-Pedic mattress
Bathroom: Includes a shower with a soaking tub.

★KITCHEN ★
Well-equipped, full-sized refrigerator, stove, oven., microwave. Comforts of home kitchen essentials includes dishware , full knife set, flatware, Keurig and coffee pot, Air fryer & Instant-pot .

★ OUTDOOR LIVING★
Deck with dining and seating area, wood burning fire pit, hot tub, charcoal grill, serene mountain views

★GENERAL★
Washer/dryer, central heating & A/C, linens & towels provided, starter packs of household essential products, shower and body amenities, board games and books/magazines

★PETS★
Well-behaved pets are permitted at our “pet-friendly” cabins. A non-refundable pet fee ($25) is required. Guests must clean up any dog waste. Pets should not be left unattended. If any evidence of an undisclosed animal is discovered during or after the stay guests will be charged a pet fee. In addition, any and all damages caused by the pet are the sole responsibility of the Guest.

★Fireplace in the cabin is currently not working

★While in the mountains, you will likely see bugs, mice, or furry critters. We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters. Keep in mind we are in the forest (their home) so seeing any sort of critters is expected!

  • Standing under the Natural Bridge in Slade Kentucky. Its namesake natural bridge is the centerpiece of the park. The natural sandstone arch spans 78 ft (24 m) and is 65 ft (20 m) high. The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years. The park is approximately 2,300 acres (9 km2) of which approximately 1,200 acres (5 km2) is dedicated by the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves as a nature preserve. #Nature

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Super cute and cozy well put together cabin! Loved the hot tub and location, great views out the window! Loved that the pups were able to come. Could use a little extra dusting and sweeping but bedding and counters were clean!

Beautiful and comfortable cabin. It was perfect for our 2 day getaway from the kiddos. Hot tub was clean and 104. The bed is a softer memory foam. Comfortable but a little too soft for our preference. Jacuzzi tub was nice to soak in after using the hot tub but the jets dont work. Will we be back? Absolutely!!

Very nice cabin. Cozy and private. Close to many attractions. You can start the red river gorge 715 driving loop very close and end it right at the bottom of the driveway. It was awesome to do a complete loop, stop and hike to many attraction and ended the day driving through the Nada tunnel which is not even 10 mins away and cross the road and straight up to the cabin. It was the perfect location. The driveway is very steep and I’m glad we took the car on this trip cause I wouldn’t have wanted to do that driveway on the Bike. The Hot tub wasn’t that great but everything else about the cabin was perfect for a long weekend getaway. I’d definitely recommend it and wouldn’t mind going back for a longer stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin, it was clean and had all of the necessary amenities. The location is nice, close to the state park and area attractions but yet secluded enough to feel away from it all. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking! We hope to stay here again!

Stayed 2 nights, booked 1 month in advance. First, the bad. No actual Check-In process was communicated, so I took it upon myself to text the owner that we had arrived. The Wi-fi gateway was constantly dropping out in the afternoon & early evening, which became a major issue since the TVs use YouTube TV. By dropping out I mean connected for 10-15 minutes, then disconnected for 5-10 minutes, cycling this way over and over. It got less frequent later in the evening, but made TV viewing very frustrating. The other major issue was the lights over the staircase were non-functioning. This is a safety issue since the bedroom is a loft & the bathroom is on the lower level. We left the bathroom lights on overnight to provide some lighting for the stairs. At 4 A.M. on the first night we were awaked to the sound of a lightbulb shattering (must have overheated) & then had to get up to clean up broken glass in the bathroom. I texted the owner in the morning & she said she would send someone out to replace the spent/broken bulbs, but when we returned to the cabin after 6 P.M. nothing had been replaced & no further communication. Fail!Now, the good. The cabin was clean. The mattress was very comfortable. The hot tub is very nice & was our favorite feature (especially after a full day of hiking!).Overall, I give it a grade of "C".

Check in was a breeze and the cabin was clean and as described. The only issue was there was a smell when we arrived, and it was from two full bags of trash. Left in the cabin. Also, went to freshen up clothes in the dryer, and it was not working. Overall- enjoyed our stay-beautiful and peaceful.

Birthday bliss

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a little birthday getaway. The cabin was so cute, cozy and well-appointed. We really loved that it was close to everything RRG but tucked away in the trees. The hot tub was excellent after long hikes too! Would definitely come back :)

Stay was great. I only gave 4 out of 5 on Cleanliness because we had a cricket visit us inside the house. It could have come in when we came through the door. Location is great in relation to local attractions. FYI the road up to the house is steep!

Tanzanite Cabin

The cabin was not as nice as it appeared in the advertisement. The television did not work and we had to call for them to come fix it. The hot tub was on 104 and we asked them to come and lower it because we were not able to lower the temperature our self. That was never done. The hot tub was too hot for us to sit in and so we were not able to use that at all, which is exactly the main reason that we rented this cabin. I feel like for the price it should’ve been nicer cleaner and things should’ve worked better. Several of my last communications with the property manager were not answered.

Very cute place, loved accessibility to town and natural bridge. Tv kept turning off, im a bartender so i kerp strange hours, so my body is used to being up all night.Could use some sort of easier pathway to the fire pit, the moss is slippery. And the light by the door wasnt working properly. Property is so cute, hot tub was great. We will definitely stay here again. We loved the totem poll too! Very cool!

A Gem

Beautiful area! The house was a perfect size, but I'm not used to having steps in my house, it felt weird to go up to bed! The hot tub was very clean. We wished it had a little more usuable yard for the dog, but that's hard when you are on the side of a hill. All-in-all, a goid time!!
