Lakehouse with private pool

Thank you for looking at my home. This is my 4th year on the market as a vacation rental. We hope to have you as a guest. This is a magnificent place to enjoy time with your family and friends. This custom built home is in quiet exclusive Lake community. You arrive thru the front door to overlooking the lake and your own private pool. You'll want to pour a glass of wine and let the stress disappear overlooking the amazing view and beautiful sunsets. In the mornings, take a swim in your private pool. This home has over 3800 sq. ft., sleeps 10 to 12 people comfortably . The master has a romantic fireplace, your own private deck over looking the lake. The kitchen offers all the you need to prepare a delicious meal for your family and friends, along with a outdoor grill. One huge living room that makes any family time enjoyable with floor to ceiling view of the lake.
There are restrictions from the HOA, please NO commercial events and NO parties of any kind. This home is for family and friends that want to enjoy a relaxing and fun time. Because of HOA, NO boats, trailers, RV can be parked in the neighborhood, I have made arrangements for those that need to park any boat, trailer, or RV within walking distance from the house.
Due to insurance restrictions you must be 25 yrs of age to rent. Contact Margie for details.

House Rules

1. NO PETS, the owner is highly allergic animal hair and has asthma and have an allergy to pet dander. My apologies, I know your pets are your family.

Community expectations
This is NOT the home to rent if your looking to have loud parties. It is located in a quiet community on the lake with magnificent views, and enjoy the peacefulness of the sunsets. Please be mindful of other homeowners who live in the area by minimizing the noise after 10pm.

Guest access
If you would like to rent a boat or rent a boat slip during your stay you can contact Cross Timbers Marina next door to the sub-division.

Guest interaction
I'll be there to meet and let you in the home to show you where all the things you might need during your stay and answer any questions.

Getting around
The house is located on Skiatook lake only 6 minutes from small town but sits in Osage county the biggest in Oklahoma. The house is only 22 minutes to south of downtown Tulsa and 25 minutes north of Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

Fantastic home, it’s a great place to unwind and spend time with friends and family. This house has plenty of room and everything you need for a large family or friend group to spend time together. Great neighborhood with a spectacular lake view. Just a short drive to the Cross Timbers marina where we rented a pontoon boat and spent the afternoon on the water.

Family Reunion

We came to the area for a family reunion and specifically rented this home for the Pool and closeness to reunion/marina. When we arrived the pool was green and house was not well cleaned. The homeowner was fantastic and came right over after a long drive back from Houston TX. They worked diligently on the pool for the next 2 days but it wasn’t usable until our last day there. We were refunded the cleaning fee only.

Girls Weekend

This home was perfect for our girls trip. There were five of us and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We spent a lot of time in the pool and sitting on the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed with a large refrigerator and an extra ice machine. Lots of sitting room inside for meals and hanging out. Margie was super about answering my text and phone calls. We did have a power outage for about two hours from a storm but it just added more fun to our trip to create memories. I would definitely recommend this home for a small group gathering. Having the pool saved us from running around to find entertainment.

Total Relaxation

The view of the lake was calming and it was a total relaxibg spring break with my husband and boys. We enjoyed the local Mexican for dinner one night and had the flexibility of a short drive to Tulsa the next day for sightseeing. We even met Margie before we left and it was a pleasure. Definitely recommend.

Family Get Away

House is roomy! Pool was very nice. House is appointed well. Set up well for several people. All bathrooms need to be accessed thru a bedroom, except halfbath, but not a big deal for us. Propane tanks were mostly empty. I saw that in a previous review. I advise to check before grilling! Other than that, no issues. House sits high above lake, so no access from house itself, but views are very good. We rented a pontoon that was well worth the $$. Lake is gorgeous! Saw 2 bald eagles.

Gem on Lake Skiatook

Our large family loves to spend July 4th together and typically do a week long lake trip. This year didn't allow for this so we were thrilled to spend two nights at this property over July 4th. This was absolutely an amazing property! The home was clean and in perfect condition with any amenity we could need. The host was a fantastic communicator before and during our stay with very thoughtful hospitality. We LOVED the pool as did the children. Our only downfall was the rain while we were there but the home still provided lots of amazing memories! We will absolutely return.

Annual Family Lake Trip

The house was exactly as pictured! This was our first time to Skiatook and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Margie was an amazing host. She was easy to work with and we are so grateful that she trusted us with her home. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of room indoor and outdoors. The lake view was breathtaking. We enjoyed the pool and all the seating areas. Definitely a trip to remember!

If you are in the Tulsa area, rent this home! Margie is a wonderful owner. She keeps her home very clean, communicates well, answers any questions you may have, and simply is a really nice person. Views are outstanding even from the swimming pool. The lake is beautiful, and pictures can not do this place justice. Everything you need is at this home for a great vacation.

Beautiful home and view of the lake

Overall, we really enjoyed this stay, however a few things need to be noted. The sofa bed in the so-called television room was unsleepable; the mattress was very old and there was a dip in the middle of the bed as if some of the support was missing so our adult children had to sleep on the air mattress which also did not maintain the full inflation. There was no television in the living room/ great room so our family could not watch championship sports that we wanted to watch as a family. Sleeping in the east bedroom off of the patio required going upstairs to use restroom because the two bathrooms in the lower level were in people’s bedrooms. So the bedrooms were the most complicated part of our stay since we needed 5 bedrooms for adult children. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and some dressing and stuff like Mayo in the frig. There were lots of outdoor seating and the pool was lovely. Propane tanks for the grill were empty so we had to go to town to get propane to grill.

Wonderful & Relaxing

This home is beautiful and comfortable and the views are stunning. We so enjoyed our stay and the area surrounding. Close to Tulsa and Pawhuska for a visit to the Pioneer Woman’s Mercantile. The guys fished and us girls hopped quilt shops. Plenty in the area to visit! We would visit again!
