  • This apartment is located in the heart of downtown Sitka adjacent to St. Michael's Cathedral within minutes of everything you need; restaurants, shopping, bars, harbors, grocery store, library, hiking trails and Sitka Fine Arts Campus. Across the street visit the Sitka Library or Harrigan Centennial Hall where you can watch the Russian Dancers perform during the summer months, visit the Sitka Historical Museum or attend a Summer Music Festival Performance.

    The apartment is located on the second level of a downtown commercial/residential building with captivating views of the surrounding mountains, ocean and Crescent Harbor. The main floor has a Mexican Pizza Restaurant, a consignment store and an Art & Jewelry Gallery. On the lowest level you will find a Food Co-op and Botanical Beauty Studio. Also, on the lowest level we feature a stunning mural from a local artist. The second level is a combination of long term residential apartments and vacation rentals. The building is locked in the evenings and accessed with a pass key. The building has an elevator for tenants and guests only and the key to the elevator is provided after check in.

    The building has 2 entries and will be locked in the evenings. The apartment is located on the second level so stairs will be necessary to access the apartment when checking in. An elevator key is provided after check in. Guests have an access key to use when the building is locked.

    The apartment has everything you would need to be comfortable and feel at home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal, just bring the food. We provide basic spices, coffee, and tea. The living room has amazing views of the surrounding mountains, ocean and Crescent Harbor. There is a smart tv for you to add your favorite streaming app. And if you need it, wireless internet is available.

    If it is comfort, convenience and location you are wanting for your Sitka stay, this property is for you.

Loved this apartment! Absolutely gorgeous view, Beautiful and thoughtful touches indoors as well. Perfect central location for anyone from out of town. Everything needed is within walking distance. Very convenient that my favorite restaurant in town just happens to be located on the ground floor! Also, considering it’s downtown location, I was amazed at how quiet it was! Absolutely stellar host, who was so helpful when we left some belongings behind, was very accommodating to let us return to pick them up! I would have loved to stay a month for the view alone!

Great stay. All the amenities that could ask for. The 2nd bedroom is partitioned from the living room but is very nice. The refrigerator compressor is a tad loud (not overly annoying) and the front door has a gap under it so hallway noise (very occasional) comes in clearly. The laundry is right across the hall (very convenient) and Yuyos restaurant at the bottom of the stairs is really good (and they have ice cream!). Pel Meni Russian dumplings (right around the corner)- Yum. Everything is in walking distance, in fact the walk to the airport terminal is about 30-40 minutes.

Spic & Span clean apartment .. the perfect location for meeting points for excursions.. distance to the airport Kitchen has everything you need in case you want to cook a meal etc. ones you receive the key you can use the elevator for your suitcases . We had unexpected warm weather very thankful for that however a simple fan would have been wonderful specially the back bedroom gets very warm . Would stay here absolutely again .

Fantastic Location

We loved staying here! We did a lot of "window shopping" before actually purchasing our souvenirs, but loved being able to walk a short distance to drop off our items and not have to carry them all around with us for the day. And to be able to go just one floor down to visit shops was super handy! Of course the apartment was super clean, had everything we needed, had great views and was very comfortable. The minimal clean-up policy was unexpected, but we made sure to do more than was required. Highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Sitka!!

I found it hard to get comfortable in the family room. Two couches without a comfortable sitting chair made for some restless moments. Direct T.V. choices were terrible, but I get it. Saving money is important for the proprietor.

Great location

Apartment was in town and we could walk to almost everything. The apartment itself was clean but the kitchen was dated. The bathroom had been updated but the sink drained very sloooowly. The mattress in the front room was horribly soft and old. The sheets should be better quality. Didn’t sleep in the other bedroom because there were no windows and it was stuffy. The coffee machine worked great!

Perfect Sitka Condo

Great centralized condo in the heart of town. Very clean, comfortable and roomy condo with nice view. Just the ticket for my recent fishing trip which was close to the marina. Hope to visit and stay here again with my wife so that she can enjoy Sitka like I did.

Great spacious downtown apartment.

Katy’s place was absolutely perfect for our visit to Sitka. Our son lives here and we have visited many times. This place is by far the best equipped and most convenient. We cooked several meals here and everything we needed. The next time we visit Sitka, this will definitely be our first choice.

Clean apartment in a convenient location

Nice clean apartment conveniently located walking distance to most everything in Sitka. It comes with all the basic kitchen items you need. 3 min drive to airport and 30 min walk to raptor center and totem park. Over all we were pleased. The listing is as advertised and check in/out was a breeze. If you are visiting for a few days without a car this would be a good option for you. Owners were timely with their communication.
