This home we affectionately call the Farmhouse offers new...well new everything! Sergeant Bluff is close to everything, Tyson Event Center, Casinos, Gold, snow tubing hill and much more! This property offers an oversized garage perfect for staging your next construction project in the Siouxland area as well as a huge rhubarb patch if that tickles your fancy. Thelander Properties LLC strives hard to exceed your expectations, we want to earn your business!

This completely remodeled home is offered to our valued guests for your short term housing needs. The home is pleasantly furnished with new kitchen and appliances, new washer and dryer, water softener and new beds so comfortable you may not want to leave! The home offers a front porch just like Grandpa and Grandma used to sit on and tell lies to each other and an oversized detached garage Grandpa ended up in after he got in trouble! I mentioned the rhubarb patch and hopefully weather permitting we'll polish up on my farming abilities and get a garden planted so you can go pull some weeds for some stress relief, not that you would have any stress after staying in this beautiful home! Ring brand doorbell in use.

Golf trip

This worked great for us. We had 5 people staying, 4 players and a caddie. Our tee times were spread over the entire day. Thursday we had 8:00, 10:20, 11:50 and 2;00 and the second day 8:00, 12:00, 1:20 and 2:20. So the late ones got to sleep in. Pretty much just sleeping and a shower was all we needed

Clean and reasonable

The house is clean, equipped, and exactly what I expected. The price is very good and saved us a lot of money over hotels for this many people. The location is not as nice as we were hoping for, it is near a train yard, and car wash. That said, we felt safe, and only heard trains occasionally. It did not disturb our sleep. It did not feel skanky at all, just a little different location than I was expecting. There were four queen sized beds, we didn’t look for where they are counting the other two sleepers. Owner was easy to talk to, responsive and helpful. I would like it if there were more rental houses like this that charge a reasonable amount for clean lodging. It’s helpful when you’re traveling but it’s not a vacation and you just need a place to stay. Last thing: the leaving/clean out policy was the kindest I’ve had in a rental. Sometimes the list is incredibly long and they want you to do all the laundry and practically clean the whole house before you leave, on top of a high cleaning fee. This place made it easy peasy, and also charged only a very reasonable cleaning fee.

Beyond Superior

We came to town for the NAIA tournament and Brad was amazing from start to finish! This stay was far my best VRBO booking ever! You could not ask for a better host and communicator. He answered every question, checked in on our stay, and was gracious enough to work with us and our uncertain schedule. Thank you again for everything!!!

Great homy stay...

Plenty of space for visiting and engaging. Can't ask for better. The "rules" book is quite hilarious. Great to work with Brad and very well located property.

Excellent visit

We had an easy time finding it. We love having the space and freedom to cook our meals. One morning we got 3 inches of snow and the owners came over bright and early to snow blowed the porch and drive. They even cleaned off our vehicles also.

CLEAN and Comfy

Couldn't be any cleaner! Beds are amazingly comfortable. Plenty of kitchen area to prep food for a meal at my sister's house. Communication was clear and timely.We were in town for a funeral.

Great accomodations

We had 2 families stay here and it was perfect! The upstairs/downstairs allowed us our own spaces but still allowed us to enjoy the stay together! Owner was accomodating and communicative. Easy in and oit location. Garage was nice to host some guests for shaded seating for a cookout.

Brads properties show his desire to modernize and make comfortable older homes with character.

Great AC, comfortable beds and modernized kitchen. Spacious refrigerator. Quiet neighborhood near many food options but minutes from downtown.

Perfect for our needs

The farmhouse was the perfect size to celebrate Christmas with adult children and their families. Brad was easy to deal with, responsive to messages and inquiries, and flexible to meet our needs. We will definitely stay again when we all meet in the Sioux City area.

Served us well

This home did exactly what we needed it to. I have to say I am a little more accustomed to higher end amenities and was a little disappointed in the quality of finishes. The shower downstairs feels like a temporary set up and was super tiny. Larger men would have trouble showing down there. The two downstairs bedrooms had small windows but I am not sure if the egress was to code? There was no insulation between floors so for the folks staying downstairs it was rather loud when people were getting up for the day. I would highly recommend finishing the home with insulation and drywall. Again, it served its purpose and we would stay again but I would love to see this home completed to code and with nicer amenities/finishes.
