The special feel-good atmosphere of the newly built 100 square metre wooden house will inspire you from the very first minute. The perfect place to relax. Enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine on the magnificent 40 square metre south-facing terrace, unwind in front of the flickering fireplace or relax in the soothing bio sauna. The house is suitable for a romantic holiday for two as well as for families with older children or groups of up to 4 people.

....from the very first minute. This is ensured not only by the house, which we have lovingly furnished down to the last detail, but also by the fully equipped, high-quality, modern kitchen. Ambitious amateur chefs will go into raptures here. In addition to a large cooking island with induction hob, there is also a wine fridge with selected wines (optional). Nespresso machine, dishwasher, basics such as oils, vinegar, spices etc. are a matter of course. Toast to your holiday with a bottle of Prosecco already prepared for you and enjoy the wonderful ambience. Take a seat on the large wooden terrace. Light the barbecue and take in the natural surroundings while enjoying a delicious meal.
Large panoramic wooden windows in both bedrooms and in the open-plan kitchen with living/dining area offer you an unforgettable view. Adjacent to the bedrooms are the luxurious bathrooms and a dressing room.

Location

The exclusive holiday home is located at an altitude of 600 metres on the outskirts of a small village, on a south-facing slope with a fantastic view over the Eifel. Only one hour away from Cologne, Düsseldorf and Bonn. Ideal for those suffering from stress who want to escape their daily routine for a weekend or longer. Due to its southern orientation towards the nature reserve, the house is secluded and provides the necessary discretion and tranquillity.

Activities

If you like it sporty, you can hike along unspoilt paths or go on exciting mountain bike tours through the endless expanses of the High Fens. Horse lovers will also get their money's worth here. Let yourself be guided on horseback through blossoming stream valleys or primeval Eifel forest. Take part in ranger-led hikes or enjoy a forest swim. In summer, the nearby Rursee lake invites you to swim, paddle or sail. In winter, if there is enough snow, there are cross-country skiing trails available to you, which run directly behind our house.
Explore the medieval Eifel town of Monschau with its picturesque old town, winding alleyways and quaint half-timbered houses or the city of Aachen with its beautiful old town and cathedral.
Culinary enthusiasts will also get their money's worth here. Restaurants in the small town of Simmerath, just 2 kilometres away, or in the surrounding area will spoil you according to all the rules of culinary and hospitable art. The wine cellar in Simmerath has a large selection of delicious wines for you to choose from. Sample wines from all over the world in the tasteful wine cellar.
If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, then relax on the 40 square metre wooden terrace. Lie down in the hammock with a good book from our small library or immerse yourself in the marvellous views that await you. Warm yourself by the wood-burning stove with a glass of red wine or relax body and soul in the wonderfully fragrant, soothing bio sauna.
