THE SPACE
The condo features two private bedrooms – one with a king-sized bed and one with a queen-sized bed – and two private baths, a stocked kitchen and tons of cozy living space with soft seating and fireplace.

Mountain View is one of the few rentals in the area with all of the conveniences and amenities right in the building. No walking across parking lots or driving buildings away to access the pool and clubhouse. And with the convenient elevator, no dragging luggage or groceries up flights of stairs.

There is an air mattress available by request with advance notice. You must send us a message before your arrival requesting this. Also, please be sure to include extra guests in your reservation if you want to use this (max 6 total guests).

YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE POOL AND HOT TUB IN OUR SISTER BUILDING – JUST 100 STEPS ACROSS THE PARKING LOT.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Buffalo Ridge sits above the Silverthorne/Dillon valley offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and Dillon Reservoir. Just below are a growing number of excellent eating and drinking establishments to fit any palate and budget. The area is well-established, also offering several groceries, pharmacies and plenty of shopping.

You will have the entire condo to yourself – two private bedrooms and tons of cozy living space. If you enjoy cooking in, you’ll find just about everything you need in our fully stocked kitchen. There are a number of groceries and markets right down the street to gather your ingredients from.


INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
Chances are we won’t be around, but we’re just a phone call or text away. We’re happy to help guide your visit with recommendations and advice about the area. If we are around (particularly during ski season), we enjoy meeting new people – give us a shout!

The host was wonderful - very communicative and helpful. The place is cozy if a bit dated. We had a wonderful time. It was warm and inviting for our ski holiday. The hot tub is inconveniently located down the hill in building G but it is a great hot tub we enjoyed very much. It will be great when they finish rebuilding new one in building CC where the unit is located.

The best part of this rental was the lovely view of the mountains and valley from the patio. We enjoyed a lot of time out there. There are multiple hiking trails accessible from the condo. The summer temperatures were primarily in the 70s and it was a delight to escape the heat of the front range. The owner was prompt to respond (other than when he had to wait for answers from the HOA, who weren’t all that prompt.) Overall, it was an enjoyable summer. Bldg “CC” was not visible on the outside of the building so it was not obvious which building to try to get into. The directions were a bit confusing. The condo has not been upgraded and has quite old appliances, sinks, tubs, plumbing fixtures, etc. There was no washer/dryer inside the unit and the laundry was located down one level. There was no luggage cart/wagon to shuttle our things to the condo. The cleaning supplies were minimal, with all-purpose spray that did next-to-nothing, not even toilet cleaner!We were there for the whole summer and extreme renovation construction went on the entire time. We had to go inside from the patio many times to escape the noise of the front-loaders, dump trucks, sawing and hammering. Things will probably be good for the winter ski season but the summer was lacking in amenities and abundant in noise. The “amazing amenities” in the listing were not what we found. There was no pool, no hot tub, no racquetball court, no usable tennis court. We had the water shut off multiple times, and ele

Winter Vacation 2025

The condo was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view is breathtaking. We also loved that it’s centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go! Highly recommend this for your next family vacation!

Biking trip to Silverthorne

We have stayed in the Silverthorne/Dillon area many times. It's great for biking, hiking and just taking in beautiful vistas! The mountain condo is undergoing some big exterior renovations at the moment, so parking lot was a bit congested. The condo is large and comfortable and fit 2 couples nicely. We found the host Aaron very accommodating to our needs.

Comfortable - Good Views

This unit is fairly spacious for a 2BR/2Bath setup. The furnishings were nice, it was clean and they provided nice pillows and throws to make lounging comfortable. Communication was timely and accurate. We did not use the pool/spa since the ones in our building were closed for repairs. The views down into Silverthorne and to the mountains beyond were quite nice. Be sure to follow the driving directions provided and use the 2nd CC/DD entrance to the main parking. It is much more convenient than parking in the back. Overall it was a very nice unit. The only downside is that it's nearly at the far end of Ryan Gulch Dr . . . a long & twisting drive up the hillside. Still it is convenient to town and to both Breck & Keystone. We would stay there again.

Family trip to CO

The place was perfect for my wife, 3 year old and myself. Plenty of space. Very well-maintained and clean. We had such a blast and left wishing we could stay longer. The building was very quiet and peaceful. We saw a lot of wildlife around the area and it was in a great location for some morning hikes right outside the building.

Nice condo

The condo was clean and as advertised. Essentially everything you would need is provided. The host, Aaron, was very responsive and answered all of our questions. The main building and facilities were dated. Neither of the two buildings hot tubs were operational during our stay which was unfortunate. The rental office did not appear to be staffed for the entirety of our stay. Overall, we felt it was a nice, large condo that was fairly priced.

This unit was exactly as advertised and absolutely perfect. The location was central to all the major ski areas and also to local shopping and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and clean and the building was quiet and relaxing. I would stay here again for sure

Great Place

Unlike many VRBO's this place had it all. Ton's of extra blankets. A really nice air mattress. The cupboards were stocked with basics like salt, pepper, seasonings, coffee filters, and lots of utensils. The place is tastefully decorated by someone who loves the place. Beds were comfy and warm. Only disappointment were the directions. All I needed was the floor and door number but instead it was a treasure hunt of upstairs and left or downstairs and right with second door on right. It was a riddle rather than just a simple door number. In fact, the door number was not revealed at all, please fix this for future folks to thoroughly enjoy such a wonderful place.

Ladies Mountain Weekend

Excellent from booking to checking out. This was our annual ladies summit county weekend. Aaron was easy to work with, it was a wonderful home away from home. The little touches, snacks and water on the counter were greatly appreciated. A wonderful view including hummingbirds. Within about a half mile there was an easy beautiful hike with moose included. We will be back again if we can.

Great Place

This place was perfect for our family of 3. Great views of the Dillon Reservoir and mountains. A little bit of a trek up the mountain from the main Silverthorne/Dillon area but bonus that it’s a 1-2 minute drive to a great hike (Lilypad) - would highly recommend. This place is amazing!

This condo is exactly as advertised and the scenic views while viewing from the balcony we’re breathtaking. The condo was completely stocked along with snacks in which my son and I appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Everything was clean and I am definitely referring my friends to check out this wonderful place. I definitely will be staying again.

The condo has excellent views of the mountains and Silverthorne. It also has a few hiking trails that are close. It is centrally located to a lot of tourist towns and activities. The condo complex was very peaceful & quiet. I was a little nervous that my kids would disrupt the peacefulness of the complex, but there did not seem to be too many people around during the week we stayed. The owners also stocked the condo with a lot of toiletries and household necessities. I would definitely recommend this condo. Excellent accommodations at a reasonable price. I will check for availability at Mountain View again the next time I go to Colorado.

Exactly what we needed

I was looking for a nice, easily accessible condo with a pool for the kids to play in while on a short ski trip. This place met all expectations, and there is really good pizza down the hill at Windy City as a bonus. More importantly, I left my sweatshirt with car keys in it at the pool as it closed, and on-site staff was exceedingly helpful in helping me recover it. Thank you!
