Awesome Spacious Condo, Spectacular Views, Nice Clubhouse

  • This spacious, beautiful condo is nestled in the Wildernest area of Silverthorne, CO. Plenty of room for two families, you have ample room to spread out and relax. There's even a 'Kids Hideaway' upstairs with a TV and VCR! While the kids are watching their favorite movie, grab the binoculars from the mantle, and search Ryan Gulch for Moose and other wildlife frequently seen behind our property. Relax, and enjoy the view of the Ten Mile Range and Buffalo Mtn. as the sun is setting, or kick off your shoes and revitalize on your own thermal massage bed. Need some action, walk across the parking lot to the clubhouse to swim, relax in the hot tub, play foos ball or ping pong. For the skiers in the group, it is a short drive to 6 ski areas. In the warmer seasons, there are several hiking trails within walking distance.


    At the Smiling Moose, kickback and strum a few notes on the guitar, listen to CD's, or watch a DVD....all provided. Of course, you are in the wilderness, so why not cross country ski, snowshoe, hike or bike, then start a fire in the fireplace and relax. You'll enjoy the 'Moosey' surroundings along with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there is even a barbeque grill. The Master bedroom has a queen bed with it's own private bathroom. The second bedroom on the first floor also has a queen bed with a bathroom. Upstairs there are two more queen beds, and a full bathroom. In addition, the 'Hideway' room has two full size futons, so you can sleep 8 comfortably.

    Six world-class ski areas (Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Vail, Loveland and Arapahoe Basin) are minutes from our door. In addition, Lake Dillon, the Blue River, and numerous National Forest trails are in close proximity.

    Amenities: Migun Thermal Massage Bed, Wood burning Fireplace, Phone, Cable TV, guitar, DVD, VCR, & Movie Library. Nearby activities include: Fishing, Hunting, Wildlife Viewing, Horseback Riding, Shopping at the Outlets, Restaurants, Live Theater, Cinemas, Museums , Historic Mines, Sightseeing, Swimming, Paddle Boats, Sailing, Windsurfing, Jet Skiing, Rafting, Snowmobiling, Sledding.
    Area: Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, A-Basin, & Vail just minutes away!
    Silverthorne Outlet Stores at the bottom of the hill.

The condo was perfect for our two families to stay at for the week! It was exactly as described, clean and found it to be a great value for the price we paid. There is an indoor poo, sauna and hot tub right across the parking lot that came in handy many nights after long days on the mountains. I would recommend to any group to book this place! The hosts were easily accessible via messaging and responded promptly to any questions we had…note that we had 0 issues at all for the week we were there!

Great place!

Absolutely loved our stay! Such a welcoming and comfortable spot for a fun ski weekend. The kids loved having their own space upstairs (and learning what vhs tapes are). The adults loved sipping coffee and enjoying the view.

Great Place for Two Families

Between our two families, we have 5 kids ranging from 5-15 and this place was perfect for giving everyone space. Plenty of room for all of us to congregate and the club house with indoor pool was a lot of fun too. We loved our ski weekend at the Smiling Moose!

Great condo close to skiing

We really loved this home. Very convenient to all the mountains, super comfortable, and great owners who were very helpful. We had such a great time skiing and it was amazing coming back to the cozy condo with fireplace. Well stocked with the basics and close to all restaurants and shopping too.

Great place to stay!

Close to Keystone, Vail and Breckenridge. Great view off the balcony. Plenty of room for three couples or two families with kids. Would definitely recommend for a central location to ski resorts and it’s in a nice town also!

Wonderful spot for family ski vacation

We had a fantastic stay. Great location, close to Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper. Condo is clean and has plenty of space and a well appointed kitchen. Location across from pool and hot tub is also very convenient. Love the views out the back and we even saw a moose one morning! Highly recommended for a family getaway!

Perfect for large family gatherings

The condo is better than the pictures on Vrbo. Great space for large families with extra beds and extra bathroom in loft area. Very clean and well kept. Nice couches and large dining room table area. Clubhouse just right across the parking lot. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. I would stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

This condo was perfect, lots of space for kids and adults, plenty of beds and baths or our family, well stocked, beautiful setting, close to a really nice clubhouse and decorated to fit the wilderness theme.Everyone had their favorites, the adults liked the extra and separate space, lots of cookware and laundry; the kids liked the spiral staircase, the massage table and separate space for them.Even our college age son was glad to have the private futon room to himself and able to sleep in a little. The condo was perfect for our family and would love to stay again.
