The Space:
The main residence (135 m2), created by expanding an old home with its hay storage shed, has three bedrooms sleeping 6, a sitting room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub, the other with a shower. The master bedroom, as well as the second bedroom, both contain double beds, while the third has two single bunk beds.
The guesthouse (30 m2), which has a separate entrance, sleeps 2 plus a child and consists of a single space with sitting area, kitchenette, double bed, and a comfortable sofa. It also has a bathroom with a shower.
The house has an incomparable advantage in its huge terrace, which extends along the entire length of the building, with windows and balcony doors opening onto the magnificent view!
The exterior grounds include a shaded side patio with a pergola in front of the kitchen, as well as a covered semi-open patio with a built seating area in front of the guesthouse.
Private parking is also available on the property.
It is ideal for two families or one with many children, as well as for a large group. The main residence and the guesthouse can also be booked separately.
Guest Access:
There is direct access to the parking spot inside the property through a driveway from the exterior gate.
The Neighborhood:
Although Sifnos is one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades, it has yet to be discovered by many tourists. Its many picturesque villages, monasteries, hiking paths and clear water beaches are very well known in Greece. The island is also famous for its traditional pottery and delicious food.
The famous monastery of Chrysopigi, built on a rocky islet, is a must! You can swim in the crystal-clear waters of the sandy beach of Apokofto near Chrysopigi, or visit Platys Yialos, Vathi, and Fasolou. Afterwards, have lunch at any of the local tavernas found on every beach.
Apollonia, the capital, has lost nothing of its traditional charm. There are many shops selling local jewelry and pottery, as well as clothing and home furnishings. The town also offers restaurants serving regional or broadly Mediterranean food and a great nightlife with a full range of cafés, bars and clubs.
Kastro with its breathtaking views and Artemonas with its beautiful traditional architecture are two villages well worth visiting.
The monasteries of Profitis Ilias and Aghios Simeon offer a panoramic view of the whole island from up high.
There are numerous old paths that set out from this area towards the hills or the sea for those who love trekking.

Getting Around:
This gorgeous villa is situated on an extensive property at Saoures, with an amazing view of the Aegean Sea and the famous monastery of Chrysopigi, the emblematic landmark of Sifnos. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the monastery, which is built on a rocky islet. You can swim there or at Apokofto Beach, just another five minutes away, where you will find two excellent tavernas and a scuba diving school. Platys Yialos, the largest nearby beach, situated two kilometers from the property, has minimarkets, many restaurants and cafés, hotels, and a marina.
