This Siesta Key vacation rental is a first-floor unit with an open floor plan that sleeps 2 with a maximum of 4 people. The bed makeup in this rental is a king bed in the master and a queen size sofa sleeper. This rental is great for longer stays or guests who like to cook in since you have a full kitchen and all the items to cook any meal. There is also a washer/dryer in the apartment private for your use. Beach chairs and umbrellas are supplied to you at no charge. This building is a duplex and has another 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment above you. Also on property is a heated pool that is only shared with the 2 apartments. Includes a private screened-in front porch with seating.

Perfect Getaway

This was by far the best rental experience we have had. Paige was terrific, super communication and such a great host. She even left the lights on for us due to our late night arrival. The house was immaculate from inside to out on the pool deck. It is obvious the property is well cared for in every way. We only needed one bedroom, but between the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room, it was very spacious. Everything we could need was provided, including pool equipment, beach supplies, and a carefully crafted activity book with numbers and addresses, and house information. As a family run business, we would absolutely choose to rent form Paige again just based on the quality of care she takes with her properties. The location was also amazing - around the corner - one more block - and then you’re crossing the street to the beach! Thanks for such a wonderful weekend! Can’t wait to come back!

This is my second stay here

Love the property but we did have some things that were very unsettling. There is construction going on, on the other side of fence. Got woke up early on Friday and Saturday with loud hammering and drilling and they worked until 5pm. I came to Siesta Key for relaxation it was loud and annoying. Paige was kind enough to put a sun tarp over pool so that the workers could not stare at us the whole time. Also, the bedroom door does not shut right and didn't last time either. The bathroom door need a lock on it for privacy. We had to announce when we were going in bathroom. I'm sure Paige will take care of this too now. The pool looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a while and need that. But we made the best of it. If these things are corrected, we would stay there again and again! I love this place. Its very clean and great location.

Close to everything

The house is in the heart of Siesta Key, a 2-minute walk to the beach, and less than 10 minutes to town. The heated pool is a nice addition. Highly recommended!

Perfect weekend getaway

The place is adorable and in a perfect location. Two blocks to a lovely and uncrowded beach. Walkable distance to shops and restaurants. The private backyard pool is nice for a change of pace.

Cute and good location

Cute place. Pool was great. Management greeted us with a cute welcome bag. Just a few things that need attention. Dryer would not work and couldn’t get in touch with property manager to tell them. Grill needs to be replaced the lid would not stay up. Lawn maintenance decided to weed wack and trim trees while we were relaxing at the pool. It was so loud it kind of ruined the relaxing moments. Also the maintenance guy kept showing up unannounced in the back while we were lying by the pool. I thought that was kind of odd. The bedroom door would not shut all the way it was broke. Shower had no water pressure. Cute place but the property owner just needs to fix some things and the location was good too.

Perfect location!!

Location, location, location!! This home is in the best spot within walking distance to the downtown area as well as the beach. It’s a nice little home with a heated pool my 2 y/o loved swimming in and the property managers were a joy to get to know! Highly recommended! We will return.

Very clean and tidy and cute

Our first impression was how clean the place was and well stocked the kitchen was. Big newer shower and very nice towels. We loved having a washer/dryer in the unit. The pool was warm and clean. The property managers were great to work with!

Perfect Location

The Mermaid room was VERY well equipped! Had everything we needed - utensils, plates/bowls, pots/pans, beach chairs, towels, etc! Felt extremely clean in there too. Only about a 7 minute walk to the village and the beach access is a block over - the free trolley stop is in walking distance as well - perfect location!! We were able to get an earlier check in which was great. I will say there was a "mildewy" type of smell in the room. We opened the windows and used some air fresheners and it got better. Also, the shower water pressure was quite low. Other than that, great place to stay and it is the perfect location to all attractions!

A Gem of a Cottage

The Mermaid Cottage is a gem! The property is well kept inside and out. The kitchen is well-appointed. The bedroom is very spacious and the king bed comfortable. The private screened patio and pool are also nice amenities. The cottage is centrally located to everything...beach access (8 & 9) is about a 5-minute walk and restaurants/shops/market is a 5 -15-minute walk away. Definitely a nice place to stay while visiting Siesta Key.
