"The staff were very welcoming. The room was amazing. The breakfast choices were varied. My wife had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast and i had the big full english, both of which were cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. We highly recommend you stay here if you get the chance."

"Everything was great. The people, the place, the room. Everything spot on and to top it off my first drink was free. So sat in the sunshine with a nice drink mid afternoon. Will stay again. Need to try the food next time. "

"From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The room was comfortable & toiletries were provided. We had an evening meal there, and food was wonderful. The staff and owner were first class, I'd definitely recommend staying there."

"The location sits beside the river Ouse. Beautiful location. Restaurants, shops, mall, all nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was immaculate and checked in with me daily to see if I needed anything. The restaurant was fabulous, outside seating and reasonably priced. I made this home for two weeks while I visited from Seattle. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed and I will definitely return here when I come back again. Highly recommended!"

"Very convenient location for our visit to the Bedford area. Lovely settings & surroundings, very clean, comfortable and staff cannot do enough for you. Will return if ever in the area again. "

"I stayed with my mum who is in a wheelchair. The Fox provided a ramp, removeable suction hand grips, rubber shower mat and a shower seat without asking. Access via the terrace. Perfect! "

"Wunderbares B & B in einem liebevoll restaurierten historischem Gebäude aus dem 15 Jahrhundert. Unser herzlicher Gastgeber bereitete uns ein wunderbares Frühstück. Die Anbindung an das Zugnetz nach London ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen."

"Overall, a great stay. The hotel isn’t pretty from the outside, but it makes up for it inside. I found the rooms to be more modern than other Mercure Hotels that I have stayed in. The breakfast was excellent. Plenty to choose from and fresh too. Great value for money and would definitely stay there again."
