"Arrived to Slave Lake a bit later than planned but loved that hotel was right off the highway. Check in was quick and easy and was able to park near the end of the hall and use the side door to get the few items up and in as well as keep dog away from lobby and food area at breakfast. Upon checkout I had forgotten my almost brand new ipad under the pillow on the bed and housekeeping was fast and honest and came running after me when I was on my way to the car. "The room smelled stuffy or damp. The hotel in general smelled bad. The shower looked dirty, the mattresses were old with a hole in the middle, old sheets, the base of the bed had an iron with which my daughter hit her leg on two occasions and when I went to ask for first aid items at the front desk , they only gave me a couple of small band-aid patches that didn't help at all.
