Pet Friendly Policy: We welcome well-behaved, house-trained dogs, with a pet fee (no puppies under 1 & no kitty cats sorry!). Please ensure your pets are up to date on vaccinations and flea treatments, and do not disturb neighbors. Pets should not be left unattended for long periods. Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their pets.

Relaxed on the Lake

We had an amazing weekend! 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and (2) 7year olds. We cooked, played games, sat by the fire pit, and just genuinely relaxed and enjoyed our family and friends. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay!

Exactly what we were looking for. Private, relaxing yet close to town. Very cozy cabin, well equipped and nicely decorated. Host was very accommodating and responded quickly to messages. We will be back!

Peaceful

We always have a pleasant and relaxing stay on Emerald Isle. There are plenty of comfortable beds for our family gathering and so much beauty outside. Kayaks are a highlight as well as early morning coffee looking out over the water and cypress trees.

Outdoor area along the water is beautiful. You can fish, kayak, use the fire pit and truly enjoy nature. Check-in process is very convenient. Floors in the home were dirty. New refrigerator in kitchen but ice maker does not work.

We loved our stay!

We had a great time! I brought my 12 year old son and his friend here for the weekend. The fishing is great! The house was very clean and came with most everything you need! Very peaceful and beautiful atmosphere! The host was very helpful and caring.

Short family get away

We brought our 4 and 6 y/o boys out for a weekend - enjoyed the peace and quiet. The camp is spacious and comfortable and amenities are great. It had canoe, kayaks even for the kids and all the paddles and life jackets. Our 6 y/o learned to paddle a kayak all on his own. The lake is beautiful-trees and shade. We enjoyed s’mores on the fire pit as well!! Great weekend!

Our Break-away

Our family always goes to the beach for vacation but wanted to try something different this year. Boy, am I so glad that we did. Our stay was so relaxing and quiet. Watching and listening to nature as the sun came up was amazing. And if you like watching the sun come up you should definitely see it going down. We enjoyed canoeing and fishing from the boat house (even though we only caught a tiny minnow) :). The property is far enough away to feel as if you are alone but close enough to many activities in town. We visited the aquarium, water park, alligator farm, shopping, and many museums and never drove over 30 minutes to get to them. We were able to commune with nature and visit with each other without outside distractions. The property had all the comforts of home. Jennifer is a fabulous host and was very attentive to any concerns we had (we didn't have any but she checked). I look forward to visiting her place again in the near future. As beautiful as it was during the summer I bet it is stunning in the winter. We just might have to try it out!

Great getaway in Caddo Parish

Emerald Isle was a great place to stay! The house was a really nice and accommodated my family well. The kayaks were also a great addition to experience the neat lake. If my family were to visit the area again, we'd definitely consider this place.

Wonderful setting! Furnishings very nice and clean. Beds very comfortable. Family enjoyed sitting outside in the morning visiting over coffee. Kayaks were a major hit. This is our second time staying. Looking forward to returning next year. Oh, and host was very responsive. So many nice touches

Peace and Serenity

our stay at Emerald Pointe was perfect! it was so serene and just breathtaking. We loved the seclusion of it, while only being less than 10 mins from a grocery store. the double suite set up was great for our family of 5! and the kitchen is well appointed. Canoes and Kayaks were the icing on the cake - thank you, Emerald Isle!

Quiet Escape

Far enough away to enjoy the solitude of the bayou, but close enough to wander into the city or Bossier for food and fun. We've stayed at this property twice and have enjoyed it enough to look forward to a 3rd time. The boats are a huge bonus, and the space for dogs sells it. Stay here and fall in love with Cross Lake.

Was great way to stay with family

We arrived early morning around 3am, would have been little difficult to identify without the hosts detailed instructions. Host was very easy to deal with and location worked well with our 7 members. Will definitely be great place on next family event in October.
