Emerald Cottage- Lake front & kayaks on HGTV!

Emerald Cottage was featured on HGTV's House Hunters in October 2023! The Cottage is a 2 bedroom (queen bed), 1 bath with a quaint sun porch (bedroom 2) which provides ceiling to floor windows, has a daybed with trundle which sleeps 2, and a beautiful water view. The living room couch makes out into small a bed. Bathroom has large Calcatta marble shower and a full sized washer & dryer are included as well! 5 CABINS AVAILABLE: We can sleep 34 in beds! (More if on couches and cots)

Cross Lake is a stunning year-round destination, perfect for boating, fishing, sailing, and birdwatching. Relax on your private porch as Great Blue Herons glide gracefully across the water—and keep an eye out for “Alli” the alligator!

For easy lake access, we have our own private boat launch. Craving seafood? There’s a fantastic lakeside restaurant with floating docks, so you can arrive by boat or car! Need supplies? Brookshire’s grocery store is just a few miles away, along with Circle K, Dollar General, and the brand-new Dollar Tree for all your essentials.

You can access the water and our boats that are behind the gray cabins.

Try your luck at the riverboat casinos, get up close with marine life at the Shreveport Aquarium, or enjoy hands-on fun at the Sci-Port Discovery Center.
