  • Enjoy the peaceful charming lodge style atmosphere. The artwork and furnishings were chosen to enhance your stay. The rustic charm abounds with wildlife artwork and fun decor throughout.
    Relax on the comfortable recliners watching Dish Network or stream Amazon Prime or your favorite channels after a fun day of exploring. High speed WIFI internet makes taking care of business a breeze. Have a restful nights sleep on the new memory foam mattresses. New appliances make cooking enjoyable in the well appointed kitchen with high end cookware and dishes. The stacking washer/dryer will help keep your clothes clean.
    The covered back patio allows for private outdoor enjoyment with views of the forest. Seating for 4 and a gas BBQ will provide an enjoyable finish to your adventurous day.
    Just one street away to wilderness roads and wild horses! The herds of wild horses are beautiful. We have been within 25 feet as they enjoyed their watering hole. Watching the black stallion take charge of his herd was quite an experience!
    Take an easy 5 minute drive to beautiful Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area and beautiful golf courses. Fool Hollow lake is a great place to relax, go fishing, kayaking, etc. There are numerous golf courses in the area to golf your heart out!
    Enjoy the convenient community park, with playground, grass area, covered picnic area and restrooms. It is only an easy 1 block walk. The surrounding community allows for a charming stroll among the lovely cabins and pine trees. A wilderness trail is only 2 blocks down the road, where you can stroll into the woods and observe deer and wildlife.
    The Sunrise Park Ski area, Arizona's largest, is an easy 46 mile drive from the condo. Besides skiing, mountain biking is available at the ski area or just take off from the condo on the network of dirt roads into the wilderness just about a block ride from the condo on Joe Tank Road.
    Shopping is a convenient drive into town with the Safeway only 2.5 miles away. Show Low offers many quaint small businesses to shop as well as major shopping like Walmart. You should be able to find just about anything you need.
    Need to eat out? No problem! There are numerous restaurants close by. Such as the Torreon country club or Buffalo Bills Tavern and museum. There are several local Mexican food restaurants nearby as well. Enjoy happy hour deals at Los Corrales Mexican restaurant. The food is generous, reasonable and quite tasty! Fast food is available with many chain restaurants as well as local operations. The town of Pinetop/Lakeside is an easy drive and offers a brewery and eateries.
    If you get bored on your visit to Show Low...... Something is definitely wrong!

Such a warm and welcoming condo! Everything is just top-notch. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, quiet location. We especially appreciated the ground floor location.

Really nice cozy condo in the West side of Show Low. Host gave us great instruction and had plenty of household goods,( coffee pods, dishwasher pods, utensils,) available for us. House was clean and very well maintained. We loved everything! Looking forward to returning

We didn't actually stay here. But they keep hounding me for a review. And to be perfectly honest, we made a mistake not staying here. We went and checked the place out a little bit. Next time we'll probably book this place.

Cozy and comfy

We loved staying at Black Bear Lodge. It was so cozy and fun! We loved the little touches we’d find around every corner. Everything was clean and cozy and we’d definitely stay again.

Cute comfortable apartment

Everything was perfect and we recommend this home and the owner. All was comfortable and the decor was tasteful and cozy with log cabin theme. We will look for this listing specifically on our next trip to Show Low.

This is a very clean adorable cabin! The host has gone above and beyond to make it comfortable and convenient. It is well equipped, including a binder with instructions for equipment in the cabin and dining recommendations, complete with menus! We loved the covered patio area out back where we were able to sit and comfortably enjoy the rain without getting wet! I would love to stay there again if I found myself in the area.

A short stay just to check out the area.

We rented the condo for 2 nights just to check out the area for possibly relocating. The property was well kept and clean. It was as advertised and even though it was my wife and I having 2 bathrooms was very nice. Checking in and checking out was very smooth. We would definitely stay there again if we are traveling through the area.

We spent nearly a month in Show Low at Black Bear Lodge and had a fantastic time. This condo was cozy, well-stocked, and plenty roomy for us. The neighbors were friendly and the park was delightful. The most pleasant surprise for us was proximity to beautiful hiking trails-- we didn't even have to get in the car to hike/bike/run for miles! We even spotted some wild horses.

Clean and Convenient!

Black Bear Lodge was perfect for our needs as we visited grandkids (and their parents). The house was clean and creatively decorated. Highly recommended unless it is a time where we need it!

Cozy Mountain Retreat

Wonderful cabin/lodge experience! This cabin retreat is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. The decor was so nicely done, including the cozy outdoor space. The furnishing were new, kitchen had everything we needed (and we cook)! The location is perfect, right off the main road as you enter Show Low. We enjoyed the lake (just a few minutes away) and the short drive to everything we needed. Loved the walking path into the woods! Highly recommend this property!
