  • Set amongst a luscious bush setting just minutes to the beach, and with polished floorboards and stylish furnishings throughout, this 6-bedroom beach house is just waiting to accommodate your family's next holiday!

    The attractive house is nestled in a quiet area in Shoal Bay, within walking distance to Wreck Beach (walking access to beach only) and close to Box Beach, Zenith Beach and popular Shoal Bay Beach. The option to hire bikes and paddle boards is available by the foreshore, and Tomaree mountain is also nearby – its popular trail walk to the summit and stunning lookout starts just 1.8km away. A 2-minute drive up the road will take you to the delicious eateries including Mod Thai, Gianni's, Zenith, Fusion, La Dolce Vita, Little Boathouse, Shoal Bay Country Club, Inner Light Tea Rooms, and many more.

    Level 1 of this coastal home offers an open plan living room with a 40" LCD TV & DVD player, linking to a freshly renovated kitchen which is spacious and practical, and features a dishwasher and breakfast bench. At the rear of the house, the dining area with solid timber dining table leads to the backyard and the spacious back deck with outdoor setting and gas BBQ. This level also offer 2 bedrooms with built-in robes, one with queen bed and the other with bunk beds, as well as the main bathroom with separate bath and shower, and an internal laundry with a washing machine and 3rd toilet.

    Upstairs is a spacious and cosy 2nd living area with ducted air-conditioning, an LCD TV & DVD player, 3-seater lounge and bean bags, plus a bathroom with shower and toilet. Of the 4 bedrooms on level 2, one has a queen bed, one has a king single bed, and the remaining 2 each have a single bed. offer a single bed in 2 rooms, king single.

    This holiday home is ideally suited for 1 to 2 families, with a maximum occupancy of 6 adults. The layout means the kids can have their own space upstairs when they need while the families come together downstairs – have the best of both worlds for a relaxing and fun beach holiday.

Disappointing in every aspect

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the property from the 14th May to 17th. I found the process of booking very difficult. I had a voucher from a previous unused stay and this seemed to cause so many issues to get the booking secured, there were several emails back and forth and untold answered phone calls.Upon arrival we found cockroaches on the floor, debris on the stove top that had fallen from the ceiling, mould in the bathroom upstairs,dirty window sills it generally looked like the house had not be cleaned in preparation of our arrival.The house states it sleeps up to 9 people yet there are not enough seating at the dining table to fit 9.There was also a lack of the following to accommodate 9 people;Wine glassesPillow casesThere were no serving utensils, serving bowls, salad bowls, bread knife which I feel are basics for a house.One of the toilets was broken.There were burnt edges on the place mats. No light bulb in the stairwell, which was quite dangerously dark.There has been a few updates in the house such as bathrooms and Kitchen but I found the house to be quite dark and dated.I would not recommend this property to anyone

Unbelievably overpriced and pretty terrible

Arrived to clean property. Sofas and all beds comfortable. Place was however terribly lacking . There was nowhere to hang your towel. The main downstairs bedroom lacked furniture for such a big space. It needs a chair , table or dressing table. We couldn’t find wine glasses and when we did were surprised by the mosh mash of poor quality glasses. Also not enough for our party of 8. . Sheets and towels absent and required us to phone office. Barbecue nearly blew up in our faces and we had to replace gas which required phoning office and then going out to purchase some gas. Very unsafe. Back garden had tree stumps and broken branches all over . Front furniture in outside area was filthy and cigarette butts surrounded it. Bins were full to brim so we couldn’t fit our rubbish in and had to drag them up steep driveway. Outrageous price for a property that didn’t even supply a set of decent wine glasses. Very disappointed.

Dated but good for the price.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was dated but covered the needs of a golf group who didn’t spend much time there. Overall some complimentary soap and shampoo would have been nice and our linen didn’t get delivered to plan. There are possums in the roof of this property which is a bit spooky at first but then you get used to your furry flat mates.

All of us were not happy and left the next day although we had booked for more nights. Not Happy.

The property and furniture are tired and not as clean as expected. We ended up sweeping the yards & redoing dishes as well as killing insects most of the night. The beds were uncomfortable very old.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was perfect, near box beach and wreck beach. However, we were severely bitten by bed bugs in the master bedroom & had to pay for pest control because they followed us home. Host has refused to compensate us for pest control & are not taking the issue seriously. Please note bites take a couple days to appear so you may not notice till after your stay. BE WARNED
