"I very much appreciated the Nespresso machine in the lobby and the laundry machines. The location was right at the subway station, you can’t get more convenient than that! But also the neighborhood was walkable with restaurants, convenience stores and a supermarket close by. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"We booked a triple room so were surprised to get to our room and discover only 2 single beds for three adults. The staff were very apologetic and provided complimentary drinks at the bar while the third bed was set up. Other than that the room was lovely and quiet, with a view over the outside garden area. Location was super handy for the walk past many temples to Sannen-Zak’s path and Kiyomizu-Deru. Not too far from Pontocho Alley & Nishiki Market. Woul happily stay her again."

"La ubicación de este hotel es maravillosa. Cerca de varias estaciones de tren, bus, y de las calles comerciales y el histórico barrio Pontocho. El hotel es silencioso, las camas y almohadas cómodas, y (como en los viejos tiempos) entran a arreglar la habitación todos los días (no como en otros hoteles de rango de precio similar, que solo lo hacen cada tres días). El Onsen es un plus y el templo también. El staff fue demasiado amable, desde la gente de la recepción hasta los de cocina y limpieza....

"Our 1st room was great until we stepped on wet carpet that smelled like urine (huge area). Assuming pet (I hope). They wanted to dry it and have me star in that room! NO! Finally got another room. They give 3 coffees in room. After we finished I wanted more, I was told there was a charge. NOPE, I go get some elsewhere and ask for housekeeping to restock for next day. 2 ppl later get back to the room - no coffee refills or amenities- which they charge daily for. Took 3 ppl to get that finally....
