"We had a wonderful stay at **The Hideaway at The Bay, Filey. The property was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing dog friendly break. It felt very comfortable and homely from the moment we arrived.
The location is excellent, with parking available and just a short walk to the stunning beach. It's also close to the on-site amenities, making it a great base for exploring the area or simply relaxing.
We especially enjoyed peaceful walks along the...

"The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality.
The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather."

"This was a lovely stay, the apartment was perfect for us, very clean and plenty of parking. We've not got a dog but the whole site is very dog friendly and the beach is only a 10 min walk away... we loved the beach and the free swimming (bookable) was good too. Thank you"

"Gingerbread cottage was a lovely cottage it had everything you needed. However the bay was rather lacking in things for the children to do. For the size of the place the play park was disappointing. The children loved the swimming pool but apart from that there was nothing for them to do. I found it very tired and in need of some upgrading. It felt more like a retirement village than a holiday park."

"Cottage was perfectly located and well equipped albeit small for the price. Bathroom great, cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen. Couple of areas needed redecorating.
But communication was non existent. Contacted host twice without reply on day of arrival to get the passcode for the keys. Also phone number was for Sykes cottages which was closed. Ended up knocking on doors nearby and finally got to the right person."

"We always love The Bay at Filey and have stayed previously in other excellent accommodation, this is by far our favourite due to its location on Blue Anchor Road, which has a sleepy exclusive feel to it. Sandy Feet Retreat is superb!! Clean, cosy and comfortable we had the most relaxing 4 days. Everything you could possibly need is available, all in great working order and clean. We would definitely return, and recommend this property to others.

"We recently had a lovely stay with our toddler grandaughter. Great, clear communications from the owners.
The cottage was clean and very well equiped with everything you could need. Even had children's cutlery, plates, high chair and stair gate.
Good size living area and spacious bedrooms with plenty room for the travel cot.
Grassed area out the back bi fold doors for the little one to safely run around on. Easy walk to the leisure facilities, pub, shop etc, and short walk to the beach path. Yes...
