  • One of the hidden gems of the South Sound, the aptly name Lost Lake doesn't disappoint. Incredible peaceful lakefront vacation home has nearly 100 ft of private shoreline with it's own dock, water toys, lakeside gazebo, fire pit and even an electrical vehicle charger!

    At Lost Lake, you’ll enjoy exceptional year round fishing (with a license) right from the dock. Bring your motor boat to wakeboard, waterski, or inner tube. Ready to play on the water? The lake is refreshing for a swim or try our water toys- kayak, pedal boat, stand-up paddle board or aluminum rowboat (all provided) to explore this figure-8 shaped lake. Return back to a welcoming waterfront retreat with a lakeside fire pit (wood provided) adjacent to a large gazebo that provides shade and weather coverage. Expansive lawn offers plenty of additional space to play.

    This amazing property has it all! The main floor offers a lakeside deck with benches to relax and unwind with loved ones while enjoying the spectacular view. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware you need to make your meals. Interior spaces are well appointed and set up for a vacation to remember. Enjoy the view of the lake from the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The living room is cozy with a 50” smart TV that you can stream, access to Netflix, and a DVD player with various DVDs available. There are plenty of beds to rest after a fun filled day.

    Spend your time enjoying the house or explore all that the area has to offer. A nice quiet stroll from the property to the main road is only 1 mile each way. Within a 30 minute drive: Salish Cliffs Golf Club, or try your luck at Little Creek Casino, or explore motor sports racing at The Ridge Motorsports park. Check out other activities (winery and distillery) at Hoodsport. A 20 minute drive will take you to town for local restaurants, grocery stores, or visit the playground at Kneeland Park. There are many activities to enjoy whether by the lakeside or exploring the surrounding areas.

    When you visit Lakeside Retreat, you will find the beauty of the fresh, clear, clean spring water and in the evening the silence of nature. This home is a beautiful spot all year-round and is the perfect getaway to relax, enjoy, and have fun creating many wonderful memories.

This was a great place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing, right on the water experience. We swam, fished and rode bikes and this was a great base to make meals, watch the sunset and otherwise unwind. The kitchen had ziploc bags, oil , aluminum foil and all the kitchen utilsels to make food and enjoy the space. I would recommend it.

We got to experience summer Lake house living at its best. We caught fish off the dock, jumped in to the 68 degree water for a refreshing swim and BBQ on the back deck while watching the sun go down. The house has air conditioning if its hot and propane fireplace if it gets chilly. The space was clean and relaxing, Kitchen had all the necessities and there's just enough internet if you are patient to watch a netflix show at the end of the day. 2nd time staying here and easy to imagine staying there again. Would highly recommend.

Great Lakefront Home

Our family has stayed here twice in two years now and we’ve loved it both times. The house is well appointed with all the things necessary for a comfortable, fun stay. Paul is an excellent host. We will definitely be coming back!

Fully equipped home with beautiful lake views!

Amazing lake view from this comfortable house! The lake is really beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The kitchen has everything you need including things like oil, spices, coffee and filters. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels.

Home away from home

Second time to rent this property. We will do it again! Plenty to do in the surrounding areas but also just great to stay at the house on the lake with everything you would need for a relaxing vacation with family.

Family vacation

This property had everything for all ages. It was our first big family vacation with our 22 month old grandson. The water was beautiful and the accommodations were comfortable and had everything you needed. This easily will be a yearly trip for my family. Thanks to Paul for being an amazing host!

Perfect from beginning to end. Great communication, well-stocked supplies, clean and super-organized home, and spectacular water access and water toys. Fishing, smores, boating, family time...everything we hoped for!

Wonderful Lake House!

Beautiful house on the lake. Very clean. Everything you need. We enjoyed playing in the lake with the peddle boat and kayaks and the kids loved jumping off the dock. We'd love to come again!

Lovely family lake vacation

Exceptionally well-located and well-appointed property. Our family had a wonderful & restful long weekend at this Lost Lake house. The house was perfect - everything we needed for a party of seven and the dock, water craft & accessories, etc, were all in good condition. We pretty much lived on the dock and deck and truly loved our time here. (and since we were there during a heat wave we truly enjoyed the AC, too!)

Nice Get away

The property is very nice both the house and the land which fronts on a beautiful lake. Kitchen was great, beds were good, nice touch with a covered picnic table, and there were lots of toys to enjoy the water. Dock is very convenient. We hope to return next fall.

We loved the lake, the house, and the area. So peaceful and quiet. The house was well-stocked and had gorgeous lake views. We especially liked that fact that the linens on the king size bed were percale cotton. I always bring my own nice sheets and didn't even need to use them! Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the SUP, kayaks, and fishing gear. Definitely worth it!

Amazing Place

We have been to thais property multiple times. We keep coming back because it is so wonderful. They truly have all you need there! From kayaks and a pedal boat, to life jackets (in sizes kids-adults), to the super comfortable cabin. The neighborhood is so quiet too. And its located at the end of the lake, so kayaking is great because of limited motor boat traffic!

Great weekend getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Easy check-in process with lots of communication. House was fully stocked, especially the kitchen! Made cooking for a group of adults a breeze. We had a good time fishing from the dock between rain showers and we were even able to enjoy a fire. Beds were comfortable and water pressure in showers was good! This home was the perfect place for hosting our adult only weekend. We look forward to returning!

Just what we were looking for

We wanted to get away for a few days to rest and recuperate, and this place delivered wonderfully. We spent a lot of time down lounging at the gazebo, fishing off the dock, and stargazing at night. We particularly appreciated the AC on the day it got over 90. Paul was also very responsive - when we couldn’t get something going as past tenants left it in a weird state, he called immediately to walk us thru getting it working again.

Lake House Retreat

Our multi-generational family spent 5 glorious days at this lakefront house swimming, fishing, using the water toys and enjoying an evening of smores by the firepit . Upon arriving, we were instantly pleased with the location of this property and the amazing views! The inside was so cozy and welcoming, and had all the comforts of home. There is really nothing more I can add to all the positive posts by past guests, but I can say that we definitely did not want to leave! You will not want to either!

Refreshing

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property. We were all in and out of the water throughout the day. It was fabulous to have the water toys and we used them all. We swam across the lake, kayaked around the entire lake and enjoyed looking at the homes and scenery. The water was a great temperature, clear and so refreshing. The house was awesome and had everything we needed. The only suggestion we would have liked is a patio table and umbrella for dining. Paul is a very responsive and organized host.
