Shelter Cove is one of the most peaceful, secluded spots on the Northern California coast. It may take some effort to get here, but it’s absolutely worth it. Please note: there’s no public transit or ride-share service in town, but everything is within easy walking or biking distance. Nearby amenities include: Gyppo Brewery and Restaurant is right down the street (4 min walk), a public basketball/pickleball court is directly across the house, Shelter Cove RV Campground store and Deli (0.25 mile), Shelter Cove General Store (2.3 mile), Delgada Pizza and Bakery (4 min drive, 18-minute walk), Venezuelan Restaurant (4 min drive, 17 min walk). Scenic nearby destinations include Cape Mendocino Lighthouse (5-minute walk), Black Sands beach (5 min drive, 20-minute walk).
