"This was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. When we arrived, the entire hotel had a strong odor of marijuana. Our first set of room keys didn't work, so we had to return to the front desk to have them reprogrammed before we could even enter our room. Once inside, we discovered that we had been given a room with one king bed, even though our reservation was for two double beds to accommodate three adults. "We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty.
