Yes, your four-legged friend is welcome! Just a heads-up: there’s no secure outdoor space, so pups will need to be walked on a lead. Shellness end of Leysdown-on-Sea is dog-friendly all year, and if you`re feeling brave, there’s even a nudist beach nearby. Just keep an eye out—your dog might mistake something for sausages! 😳

Damage Protection & Guest Verification
To help ensure a secure and smooth experience for all guests, we’re currently in the process of transitioning to SuiteOp, our new platform for guest verification and damage protection.
While this transition is underway, we kindly ask guests to complete damage protection by selecting one of the following options:
A refundable security deposit of £150, returned after your stay (subject to no damage being reported), or
A non-refundable damage waiver of £45, which covers up to £150 in accidental damage.
You’ll receive a secure payment link shortly to complete your chosen option ahead of your arrival. This step helps us prepare everything for a seamless check-in and ensures peace of mind for both parties.

❗If your dog is any of the above or a mix, please do not book, as the park will not allow entry.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when outside the property
Owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste properly

The Bird’s Nest is self-catering accommodation. We provide a small starter pack of essentials, such as toilet rolls, toiletries, and kitchen basics, to help you settle in. For longer stays, or if you run out during your visit, you can top up your supplies at the nearby Costcutter, located on Leysdown Road—just a short walk from the park.
⚠️ Please note: The Saddlebrook clubhouse is currently closed due to emergency repair works. Unfortunately, there is no estimated reopening date at this time.
If access to the clubhouse is essential for your stay, please contact us before booking — we are happy to recommend nearby alternatives.
