A cozy Modern Black A-Frame nestled in the Sierra Cedars subdivision in Shaver Lake. We fully renovated this 1974 A-Frame to blend the cozy, rustic charm of its A-Frame design with luxurious modern and premium amenities.

This exclusive location has been the site of several lifestyle photoshoots and brand-name commercials!

The property is located in the Sierra Cedars subdivision of Shaver Lake. It is a quiet, tranquil subdivision that is a perfect place to unplug and relax.

You will have access to the entire half acre property and the meadow behind it.

At the Modern Black A-Frame, you have access to the entire cabin (1,100 square feet) with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, dining, and living spaces. You'll find a BBQ, designer fire table, Adirondack lounge chairs, and multiple umbrellas on our spacious outdoor redwood decks.

The cabin sleeps 4 very comfortably in a king and queen bed with premium bamboo linens.

Bedroom 1 is on the first floor across from the full bathroom and has king size bed.

Bedroom 2 is upstairs with an en-suite full bathroom and a queen size bed.

This is the perfect setup for couples, small family get togethers, and close friends. With cozy textiles and a warm, inviting interior, it’s the perfect place to play a round of cards, read, or relax on one of the decks. Spend the day watching the many families of deer and countless other wildlife in the large meadow just steps away from the elevated back deck.

Traveling with a baby or toddler? We have you covered. Save some valuable space in your car and use the provided Graco Pack 'n Play Portable Playard (with extra sheets) and Primo Cozy Tot convertible folding high chair and toddler chair. Both bedrooms have plenty of space for the Pack 'n Play so you can keep your little ones close at night!

When you're spending time inside, you'll have all the comforts of home. Our cabin is equipped with central heat and ice cold AC (a rarity among Shaver Lake cabins!), high-speed internet, a 75" smart LG flat-screen TV with 5.1 surround sound in the living room, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Linens - We provide luxurious bamboo linens.
Towels - We provide clean luxury bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
Toiletries - We provide shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in each shower.
Cleaning Supplies - We provide basic cleaning essentials (all-purpose spray, dishwasher detergent, sponge & dish soap, etc.)
Coffee - Relax with a cup of coffee from the premium Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and Aeroccino milk frother. We also provide a French press for your convenience.

Our cabin is for families and friend getaways only. No parties or loud noises, please. We are the owners, not a rental agency. Our cabin is located in a quiet subdivision housing some year-round residents and we want to respect the quiet and tranquil natural surroundings.

As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with the below protection. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees and covers you for accidental damages during your stay. The Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $3,000 of coverage for accidental contents damage and up to $500,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury. Complete terms regarding the Trust and Safety coverage will be included in your welcome message. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date.



SECURITY CAMERAS:
We have 24/7 video/audio security cameras on the exterior of property. They are located by the front door, side porch entry, and under the back deck facing the south side of the cabin. These are security cameras focused on the entryways and designed to maintain privacy while enjoying our home.

CLEANING FEE:
The cleaning fee covers normal turnover cleaning (e.g. bedding and laundry turn over, surfaces, floors, snow removal, etc.). Additional cleaning fees may be incurred for excessive mess.

WINTER SNOW SEASON: During the winter snow season, Shaver Lake can see a very large snow accumulation. AWD or 4 wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended and chains are strongly encouraged for all vehicles. We have a driveway plow service that comes every snowfall (of 6 inches or more) to clear the driveway, and a shoveling service to clear pathways prior to your arrival. Please note that snowfall can continue to accumulate between shoveling service and your arrival. Shoveling service is not provided mid-stay, however we do provide shovels for your use if necessary. If heavy snowfall happens during your stay and additional shoveling help is necessary, please give us a call and we may be able to arrange some assistance for an extra fee. Due to heavy snow accumulation in the area, the decks may not be completely cleared and only pathway access is maintained. Please be patient as the snow removal services work to clear both county roads and driveways. Please keep an eye out for the driveway plow to move vehicles to allow for full driveway clearing. Best proposal property!

My now fiancé proposed to me near the back side of the property! It was so beautiful and intimate! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook with. The beds were very comfy, loved the surround sound in the living room, and my dog loved the big windows and deck! Perfect for a couples get away!
