This apartment is everything you want in a downtown apartment! This two bedroom, 1.5 bath located on the second floor of Driftwood Suites does require you to climb stairs to access. You'll find unbeatable views of surrounding mountains from every window as well as from the back balcony. This property is ideally located right in the heart of Seward within walking distance of the harbor and the historic downtown district.

Each bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has queen-size pullout sleeper sofa for additional guests. Each sleeping area is thoughtfully fitted with black-out coverings to help guests get a good night sleep in the land of the Midnight Sun. The blinds are also top down, bottom up so that you can maintain privacy from the street but still enjoy the mountain views.

The kitchen features a large space for cooking and a grill on the deck is available for outdoor cooking as well. The kitchen is fully stocked with most everything you'll need to prepare meals and beverages.

Ideally located right in the heart of Seward within walking distance of the harbor and the historic downtown district, Driftwood Suites houses three vacation rental apartments and the office for a real estate brokerage, Seward Properties. Please keep in mind that the suite shares a wall with another unit. If you're a light sleeper, we suggest bringing a sound machine.

Only two blocks from a free city shuttle stop and less than a block away from Exit Glacier Guides, which offers inexpensive transport to the Exit Glacier area of Kenai Fjords National Park, WhiteCap is conveniently located. Perched along the rocky coast of Resurrection Bay, Seward is a small, seaside community and a great destination for those seeking adventure, Alaskan style!

As a free resource, my husband Clay, a local boat captain, and I are here to answer questions or help you book the perfect excursion to explore Seward and the surrounding Kenai Fjords National Park. We offer discounts on many tours to our guests.

Perfect location in Seward with a view

This spotless apartment was in a perfect location for us. It was easy to walk to the stores and Sea Life Center and to the cruise pier. It was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the deck and took in the beautiful view. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute and comfortable

My family enjoyed our stay in the Driftwood Suites. It was nicely furnished, close to everything in town, and we had plenty of room for our family of 4. The property was very clean and we appreciated having a grill available for cooking. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Seward.

Fun Seward Stay

This 2 bedroom apartment is exactly as described in the VRBO listing. Very clean, all modern amenities, comfortable queen beds, fully equipped kitchen. Easy walk to the waterfront, harbor and downtown. Great views when the clouds lift. Very nice host. Would stay again.

CLEAN, great place, fantastic location

Don't hesitate to book here. We rented one of the upstairs VRBO's. It was extremely clean. There has small extras to make your stay more comfortable. We enjoyed the view from the balcony enjoying the looooong Alaskan summer days. It overlooks a street and houses BUT STILL has plenty of view of the mountains and the bay. This is walkable to many shops, restaurants and the harbor. The bed was comfortable. The host gave us great information so check in and parking was easy. I did not have any reason to contact the host during my stay, only when I left and she responded back very fast. Again.... don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it.

Wonderful and super clean with amazing views!

This property is located in a perfect position. Out of the middle of the harbor traffic, and walking distance to the SeaLife Center and the water (for those who can walk a mile or so!) The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. Beds are comfy and having the half bath is really nice bonus! The only thing to note is this is an upstairs unit (my checkin email said it was main level) so note that you will need to go up stairs. Also, if coming in summer and you are light sensitive when it comes to sleeping, bring an eye mask! We have yet to find a place in Alaska that is not bright at night, so not unique to this property, just something to easily fix if you like it super dark for sleeping.
