Tiny Home Living in Hillbilly Bear

The Hillbilly Bear focuses on larger families and groups by providing more sleeping accommodations. This tiny home floor plan package features upscale interior finishes, high ceilings and recessed lighting in the living area creating a roomy element for you and your guests.

The kitchen includes all of the necessities for making lunch or cooking an extravagant meal. Use the breakfast peninsula for seating or more counter space. Sleeping quarters include the master bedroom with ample storage, a bunk area, and spacious loft that was created for additional lodging. The TV in the loft is only for gaming. Use the ten-foot covered porch to enhance outdoor living during your summer cookout with friends and family.

Perfect get away

Perfect place for a relaxing getting away. The views of the mountains is breath taking at sunrise/sunset. Great location, close enough to town to do tourist things but also far enough away to not be in the crowd all the time. The cabin was beautiful. Just the space we needed. Bed are very comfortable. We have everything we needed, utensil wise, to cook. Very clean, well taken care of. We will definitely be coming back to stay!

Cute Cabin

My family had a great time at this adorable cabin. It was clean, and had a perfect amount of space for the 4 of us. The kids loved the option of sleeping in their own little loft, or in the bunks next to our room. It was a a short drive to the parkway in Pigeon Forge, and not too far to the National Park. And, there is a beautiful view.

Great Tiny Cabin

There was plenty of room for our family of four. The kids had a choice of bunk beds or to hang out in the loft. Great location too. Away from the city traffic, but close enough to all the entertainment options.

Just Meh

Cabin was nice, place was clean. No batteries in 2 of the remotes. Also the address they sent me was not the address of where I was staying, so it got a bit confusing. The absolute worst part was ZERO internet. I saw the signal but too weak to connect anything to. I told them (they have a policy to move you if you find something wrong in the first hour) and they refused to move us closer to the main office. They said they had no more cabins available, the two closest to the main office were not occupied, they just didn't WANT to move us. The place was pretty good, but don't expect internet while there, and don't expect they will move you if you have an issue.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our week at Hillbilly Bear tiny home. The location was quiet and peaceful, just a short drive from Pigeon Forge. The Smokey Mountain Parkway and Townsend were a short distance also. We tried some of the nearby restaurants and they were good. Hillbilly Bear was very clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies.. The washer & dryer was a nice bonus. Our stay was very comfortable. Check in was a breeze and Cove Mountain Realty staff were very pleasant. We fully intend on staying at another one of the several tiny homes at the same campground next year.

Our Stay at the Hillbilly Bear

We loved the tiny home, and we will be staying there again! The area is not too crowded where the home is and the place is awesome! We loved it! We never saw the pool, but did not search too hard due to being active doing things around pigeon forge/gatlinburg!

Great stay

It was great overall. I wouldn’t recommend using the second queen “bed” in the loft for adults as it’s not comfortable at all, I don’t recall the listing saying the pool wasn’t located on the property originally but I must’ve overlooked that. It wasn’t a far drive it just would’ve been nice to be right there. I do agree with another person that pointed out the dust on the ceiling fan, I know it’s hard to reach but when we turned it on dust did come flying down. Not a deal breaker for me though, I’d highly recommend and stay again.

Perfect getaway

We had the best time! It was far more spacious than we anticipated. We are already looking at dates for when we can come back. The house was clean, had all the supplies we needed, and in the perfect spot. Not in the hustle and bustle of pigeon forge but just a short drive to get there!! Can't wait to go back

A beautiful place to stay and spend time with your family. Close to anything and everything!

Wonderful experience from booking to check in to check out. Everything we needed was right there. A beautiful location that was close to anything and everything but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful scenery! I would come back again for sure!

Perfect!

Everything about the property was perfect. The "tiny house" felt brand new! Nothing was overlooked when stocking this property for renters. The washer/dryer was a fantastic bonus. The bed was small but comfy and the decor adorable. Perfect for a couple, the property would also be ideal for a family with young kids.

A bit disappointed

The property is beautiful. Up until time of arrival, customer service was excellent. Once I arrived, because of the frigid temperatures, the pipes were frozen and there was no running water my entire stay. Previous cleaning service forgot to leave water running. I notified management, and the response was basically "it is what it is". I want to give this place another opportunity because of all of the positive reviews it has attained, but no running water to wash, bathe, flush toilets for a family of 5, was not a good experience at all.

Amazing Property

These tiny house r in a great location with a beautiful view of a mountain! They are so cute and immaculate as far as cleanliness! Check in was super easy and management was always accessible! Perfect place to stay, the only complaint we have is the water pressure and temperature being a little to cool but that’s an easy fix! We will stay here every time from now on!!

Cute house.

Be aware that the pool and catch and release pond are quite a way down the road and the creek isn't much. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed.
