Welcome to Red Cedar Retreat! This unique 1800 sqft layout offers a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. This cabin is perfect for couples or two small families who want to vacation together but would like their own space. The cabin consists of two separate living areas, the main cabin, and a separate 2 bedroom self-catering unit above the game room area. Offering mountain views, ample parking for vehicles, trailers and motorbikes, and a quiet location just a few miles from Pigeon Forge, make Red Cedar Retreat the perfect vacation destination in the Smokies!

Main Level:
The main cabin offers a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms and an outdoor deck.

The living area offers cabin perfect furnishings, a wood burning fireplace, and large flat-screen HDTV waiting for you to grab a bag of popcorn and catch up on your favorite shows!
The kitchen area is fully equipped with all major appliances, offers plenty of cabinet space and granite countertops, as well as all the cookware and tableware necessary to make meal preparations a breeze!
The dining area offers seating for 6 at the table and an additional 2 at the bar so there is room for everyone to spread out and enjoy.

The bedroom is on the main level offers a queen size bed and large flat-screen HDTV. There is a full bathroom just across the hall with a tub shower combo.

The back deck offers a soothing Hot Tub, table with chairs and a gas grill perfect for grilling up a family favorite!

Upper Level Loft:
Upstairs you will find the second bedroom. This loft bedroom offers a queen size bed, large flat-screen HDTV and attached bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub.
The front porch offers a relaxing swing and beautiful mountain views.

The Game Room and laundry room are located just off the back porch. The Game Room features a pool table, 2 multi-cade arcade games and more...

Upper Level:
Going up a a flight of steps, you will find the second private living area featuring 2 bedrooms, open-plan living area, private porch and beautiful mountain views.
The fully equipped kitchen offers everything to make a perfect meal The dining area has seating for 4. The living area offers comfortable seating and a large flat screen HDTV for a quiet evening in.
The are 2 bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable queen size bed and shares a full bathroom with walk in shower!

The outdoor porch offers seating where you can enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the views, or grab a book and relax in the hammock.

Out in the large yard, guests can gather around the inviting wood-burning fire pit, or relax under the gazebo and enjoy the beautiful mountain views.

Guests are provided with a complimentary Luxury Pass, offering a free ticket daily to several of the area’s most popular attractions.

Nope! We left early...

After dinner on the evening we arrived, we were greeted with a mouse in kitchen. We were able to track the mouse to the bedroom on the main level of the main house by locating a large mass of rat feces. I immediately contacted the property manager and was sent to an answering service. I continued to call them as well as VRBO for the next 3 hours with NO RESPONSE. At 11am on Saturday, without notice, a maintenance man showed up at the property to look around. While he was there we also had him fix a smoke detector and a light that was not working. Later that afternoon I had to contact them back to see if they were able to locate and take care of the mouse. Still NO RESONSE from them. I was told they had called pest control and they had no answer for me. At this point we realized the hot water in the main house had gone out so I called them back AGAIN... I have 2 small children that refused to sleep in the house with a mouse so we had 7 people in 2 queen beds in the separate living area over the garage for 2 nights. By Saturday night at 9 pm, I had made several phone calls to the management company of which NONE were returned to take care of a mouse, smoke detector, light and the hot water heater. After we left a day early, they contacted us for a small refund. Then proceeded to argue with me for 3 weeks stating they took care of the problems when requested... HAHA. They refused to accept that I made the majority of my calls on Friday night, although they knew to send someone out on Saturday morning prior to me calling again on Saturday evening. I provided them with pictures and call logs from my phone but they would not admit they were in the wrong. Our last communication was them letting me know they found damage that they were pinning on us (3 weeks after we left). I provided them with pictures of the damaged basketball hoop with a timestamp of the day we arrived of which they again refused to accept. They also mentioned we ripped the grill cover... we never touch/used the grill. We never received the refund they originally offered. The cabin itself is not that bad, although the pictures make it look much better than it is. BUT I sure hope you don't have to call or deal with customer service.

hot tub

The hot tub did not work. Then after multiple phone calls to property manager we only found there was a leak and the hot tub was not safe to get in. Very disappointing when that is part of your filter when looking for a cabin.

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect rental

We had such an amazing time on this vacation and a good portion of that was due to this property. We aren't super touristy and we have been to the area before so we did do some attractions but a lot of our best memories were sitting on the porch at night talking or enjoying time together as a family. The layout was perfect for our family. We traveled with my mom, siblings, and my 5 year old. It was nice to each have our own spaces but still be able to cook and eat and hangout together in the big living room and porch areas. The game room was definitely a bonus as well. And the views were spectacular. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

Very nice place with more privacy than most.

Very nice stay. There are two driveways onto the property. Both are very steep, however the one by the garage is very, very steep. We have a four wheel drive SUV and struggled getting up. Then my daughter saw the other one. Much better!! The kiddos absolutely LOVED the game room. They also love getting their own “apartment”. The two separate living areas was a bonus for the kiddos.

Read the description before you book

The property was beautiful but not what I expected. I should have read the description as I was expecting a four bedroom house. My husband and I had to sleep in two separate buildings because our children are too young to stay in one without adult supervision. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper in any of the three bathrooms and no trash bags in the main house. The plug in the jacuzzi bathtub does not cover the entire drain so there’s no using that. Also the driveway pulling up to the garage is impossible to enter or exit without scraping the bottom of your vehicle.

I love the cabina but internet didn't work and ladybugs was every where.

My experience was great but somthing bother me the internet didn't work good.. We had the room at the top and it had lady bugs every where.. The lady bugs was alive and dead.
