Private Indoor Pool Cabin • 2 Master Suites

  • 2 king master suites each with a full bath, a full kitchen with dining area, appliances and everything you will need for in cabin meals. And all the conveniences such as free WIFI, a washer dryer and phone with local and long distance.

    In the small chance your party will be bored with the pool, then they will enjoy shooting a game of pool or relaxing by the fireplace, or maybe reading on one of the rockers on the deck.

    ### Warning, the last 1/4 to 1/2 miles drive to this cabin is relatively steep. We recommend 4 wheel drive during winter months. Guests used to mountain roads do not have issues with the driveway, however, those not comfortable with mountain roads may feel unsafe on this road during winter conditions, rain or with leave coverage ###

    Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

    This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay.     Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

    We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

Most excellent weekend stay

As others and the instructions say, the roads are no joke going up the hill to the cabin. The cabin was good size, even though the bedrooms are a little on the small size. The pool and hot tub were wonderful additions to this little gem. Some items to note, the cabin was very clean on the surface, however when the wind blew hard stuff came down from the rafters. The fridge really needs updated. It's obvious that it is too small for the space, there were missing arms in the fridge, and the ice maker dropped water with the partially frozen cubes. The TVs need some works as well, especially in the living room. It really did not respond to the remote. Even with these items, I would not hesitate to book again. It was an amazing time!

It Was Okay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After staying in a cabin a few years back we wanted to experience another smoky mountain stay. The interior of this cabin was great, the amenities were nice and kept us relaxed and content. The location and the drive in, were quite the opposite. Thankfully we drove a jeep with new tires, and 4WD — otherwise I’m not sure if we would’ve made it to the cabin. Once we finally made it to the cabin, got settled in and unpacked groceries— it became clear that the cabin directly below us was under full construction. I know this may be out of their control, but I wish I would have been prepared to be woken up early each morning on my relaxing getaway. Overall, I’m sure this cabin will be right for some people — but we will not be staying in this cabin or general area again.

Loved the pool table and entertainment area downstairs along with the private pool. It was a very classic, vintage cabin. I loved it. Very high in the mountains. Very spacious. Make sure to bring everything you need food wise,and essentials down to tissue for sure. Especially if you're staying over 2 days.Get up early with the sun, enjoy the Jacuzzi during the day.Don't go out after dark..very steep hills and bears come out after dark also. Cabin really close to highway and activities. Walmart 20 mins away along with Publix and tourist sites. Such a wonderful experience. I miss the cabin already. Will definitely rent from elks springs resort again. Thank you.

I will say it was not cleaned very good and since we pay a cleaning fee it should have been. There was a dirty Q-Tip on the living room floor, when I turned on the jets in the tub tons of black stuff came flying out and it looked liked non of the stairs were swepted or mopped.

Nice Cabin, a little hard to get to

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first checked in the pool heater wasn’t working but they sent a maintenance man to fix it and it worked after that. The upstairs is a loft style with no real privacy, the kitchen was fully equipped with newer pans. The couches were not very comfortable and the tvs were on the smaller side. The cabin itself is on the mountain, we are not strangers to Tennessee roads and this one was a bad one, it takes about 7 mins to get down the mountain and to a main road. Overall pleased with it.

I assume our cabin was empty for a few days before we got there, wish someone would have checked it before our arrival. There was also an odor when walking in, smelled of what I think were mothballs? The wifi isnt the best, slow and glitchy, but you are in the woods. Otherwise, it was a quiet, peaceful location. Had amazing dinners at Chesapeake's Seafood and Raw Bar in Gatlinburg, and at Seasons 101 in Sevierville.

A terrifying drive but nice cabin

Reviewer Comments: If I had known the roads leading up to this cabin were this steep, winding, narrow and dangerous I would NOT have rented this cabin. I saw in the reviews after if already booked that the drive was not for the faint of heart, but holy moly this was so scary and not remotely safe. I nearly had a panic attack every time we had to leave or come back. Even backing out of the little driveway was dangerous. You could EASILY slip off the road and crash. Aside from this terrifying aspect that stole my joy, the cabin itself was pretty nice. The pool was fun for the kids and the place is spacious, clean and comfortable. The dishwasher didn't work and the hot tub was a warm tub at best, but it was still a nice place.

The pool and beds were awesome. They called us a few times to check up. The cabin was very cool and overall, it was super nice. The hot tub under the stars was epic and having a pool open 24/7 is the very best. There were a few things that could use some TLC. Small stuff like dirty upper windows, extremely dusty fake plants, and small damages like a broken window covering. I wish they would include a map of the drive with noted hazards and inclines as part of the profile, they recommend 4-wheel drive in the listing, and if you are from flat land like us you will 100% want to take note and arrive before dark the first night.

The location was rough, getting in with a special needs child was difficult. The chairs as walk in, my blind daughter walked into bc right in the door. The couch was very lumpy and uncomfortable, we couldn’t sit on it comfortably. The tv was slower than the ice age. However the pool, tub, and pool table was great and the cabin itself was clean but it seems they missed the coffee table inside where my toddler found chips and tried to eat them. It was great but it was expensive to not be entirely comfortable and able to relax- we planned to stay in the entire stay but bc of it, we felt like we needed to go do things to get away from a slow tv and uncomfortable couch durint down time.

Beds were comfortable but couches were terrible- look nice but cushions are so worn you fall into the center. Tons of large cobwebs, needs better cleaning. Pool was nice but did not get much use because we got a rash from the hot tub; and yes we rinsed off. One of our kids was covered in it and miserable the last half of our trip. Great location, very peaceful setting. But does need attention. For the price we paid, this needs addressed. Staff was nice with check in and a few issues. When told about the rash and that water levels should be checked, the reply was "okay."

Then the pool could not be used for 3hrs aftee our arrival, because it was shocked.The The next morning received a text saying maintenance would be there at 1030 to perform our request. A request we never made. The 2nd day we went to use the pool and it was ice cold, both the pump and the heater had stopped working. The icemaker did not work. Overall the cabin was filthy, dirt and grime everywhere. We had stayed once before with Elk Springs and thought we would give them a second chance butthis stay was more of the same.

Reviewer Comments: In general the cabin was very comfortable regarding the beds, the general cleanliness, there were several issues that served to detract from the overall experience. First was the fact the hot tub was NOT functioning upon arrival. Another was the Wi-Fi was not connecting to the Internet. The Third was the Spa Tub in the lower bedroom, when the jets were turned on Black Junk came out.Fourth the indoor pool was stated to be at a temp between 80 and 85 degrees, it was NOT, it was much colder.The Rental Staff was fairly quick to respond, BUT being sent YouTube Video clips was pretty poor, especially since they did NOT match the units features, nor were they applicable to the issues.Given the nightly cost of the unit, I would have expected ALL of these to be in perfect working order upon arrival, I should not have to be the test guinea pig for the maintenance and cleaning staff!

Pool was Cool

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hello, We enjoyed our stay at the cabin but I have a few suggestions that I hope would improve the comfort level of the guests. I believe that a second handrail would be beneficial for the main staircase in the cabin. The log hand rail while looking beautiful was too large for my hand to comfortable grip it and it made me feel unsafe on the stairs. I also only had to use the stairs because of the main floor bathroom. The toilet is in a space that is too small so that is my second suggestion. I understand that it would take a reconfiguration of the main bathroom I believe that you could make a smaller half bath and a full en-suite bathroom off the master. I was also made aware of the temperature of the pool being cool, it was, and warmer would have been better, I did enjoy the time in the pool. There were lots of spider webs on the outside of the cabin and the upper windows were not very clean, but I understand that it is out in the woods I just know that the areas around the stairs and lights had lots of webs.

A Secret Splash

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited in early July and were overall very disappointed. The cabin was very nice, however it had not been maintained properly. The management service was not responsive. The pool was not usable due to the water temperature in July. The water was ice cold and not the 80 - 84 degrees posted. We had no internet which we communicated on the 2nd day there. We stayed a week. The management company didn’t bother calling the internet provider until day 6. It was discovered that they had a cap on data and we were the unfortunate ones to come in at the cap of data. My daughter had to be on a zoom call daily so we had to go to Starbucks every morning early. The ice maker in the fridge was also broken. We ended up leaving a day early. The cabin itself was very nice. Just very unfortunate that management team not responsive.

Lack of Communication from Company - would not stay here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I stayed in a cabin (A Secret Splash) 12/17 - 12/22 for our honeymoon. It would be easiest to summarize our stay with a pros/cons list:PROS:-The cabin was the perfect size and was nice overall-Nice secluded spot, but still close to dining, shopping, etc.-Hot tub was nice.Now for the cons:-COMMUNICATION - this was the main drawback and the number one reason we won't be using Elk Springs for future vacations. Three weeks before our stay, we received an email stating the cabin we had originally booked had been sold and we needed to pick a new one. I thought this was odd, especially since we had already received check-in instructions and door codes, but was too afraid to cancel that close to our trip. Then, on the Wednesday of our stay, we heard a loud work truck pull up and people talking loudly outside. Mind you we were in the middle of nowhere. This woke my wife from a dead sleep. The company responded that the water company needed to make some repairs outside. No notice was given to us at all - even if the timeframe was unknown, the company could have AT THE VERY LEAST given us a heads up that someone would be stopping by during our stay.-Don't think these cabins are ever deep cleaned as there was dust on the walls, cobwebs on windows, etc. Also, the in-room jacuzzi tub was barely big enough for one person, and dirt came out of the jets when the water was turned on.-Kitchen knives were dull to the point of being dangerous. -Buttons on the thermostat barely functioned-No ice in the freezer, nor trays to make ice with-Internet was slow and unreliable, especially a problem since the only TV options were streaming services.-Only two rolls of toilet paper were provided for two adults for a nearly week-long stay.-The pool was very cold with no way to change the temperature.Overall, it was a big disappointment, especially for a honeymoon.
