Our stay at Soar’n Eagle was exactly what our family of four needed. There was plenty of space for our twin boys to spread out and feel like they had their own areas, which made the trip especially enjoyable.I did want to share a couple of points for future guests. One of the reasons we chose this property was the backyard, which in the listing photos appeared to be a usable, open space for kids to play. While it is on a slope, the photos showed a clean, open area. When we arrived, however, it was overgrown with tall weeds (around 3 feet) and not usable. I reached out to the host later in the week to let them know, and they explained that the space is not intended for use due to the slope and was not in the listing as usable space. I understand that, but I do feel the listing photos could be a bit misleading in that regard. The pool was a nice feature, but according to the welcome packet, the pool is kept between 80–83F for health reasons. According to my watch it measured 78–79F, which was too cold for our family—especially for the kids—so we weren’t able to use it . Just something to be aware of if a warmer pool is important to you, as guests aren’t able to adjust the temperature. That said, the views are absolutely stunning, and the property itself is very well maintained. From a comfort standpoint, a few extra blankets for the couches would have been a nice touch. The hosts were also very responsive, I would recommend this property to a friend.
