Beautiful views! We like that it was more private. It would have been better if all of the amenities were working properly & if we had known about the new issue w the mice before we unpacked. They did have someone come out set traps. We put food in a tote. They sent maintenance out to attempt to fix the ice machine. Overall it was a nice place and we would stay again. The one smoke detector on the 2nd floor wasnt attached, some of the jets didnt work in the hot tub, ice machine & arcade game didnt work. The pool alarm wasnt on either but none of the kids came so we were ok but if you have kids check it out first. Elevator was easy to operate. I think a book w helpful tips would be beneficial. The step into the pool is VERY deep. We used a non slip mat we brought & a foot stool to help my mom & I get in/out. Im 5ft. My husband is 6'2 and his knee is at a 90 degree angle to step out. The step is also very slippery so use caution. It was nice that the pool is on the first floor. Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans utencils etc. We tend to wash what we use before hand anyhow but some items werent clean(host is addressing w cleaning company). We brought an electric kettle for hot water for tea, It flipped a breaker. So be careful not to use two things on the same side of the kitchen (toaster & kettle). For the most part it was clean except for the mouse & some utencils. We had a small group for most of our stay. Outside grill area was nice and the propane fire table was nice!
