Wears Valley Farmhouse with Wonderful Views, hot tub and firepit

  • Seven minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National park west entrance, close to Pigeon Forge, Townsend & Gatlinburg this completely remodeled farmhouse has beautiful views looking down the valley and of the adjacent mountains.

    Relax in the hot tub to watch the sunset after a long day in the park or on a river adventure. Sit outside around the firepit and watch the fireflies.

    Bordered by a small seasonal stream, there is a grove of fruit trees and as well as lots of space for frisbee or playing catch. We love this house because of the wrap around porch, beautiful sunrises and sunsets and the very quiet farming area, with rooster calls and cows mooing. Fireflies rise up on summer nights in the huge open fields behind the house.

    There are two bedrooms and two baths downstairs, two bedrooms and one bath upstairs in a converted attic that are cozy and not sized for people over 7' tall.

Great location. Communication with property manager was excellent. Home had plenty of space for our family and easy to travel to. Our family enjoyed the time spent together there.

This property is perfect. It is a bit off the main road to allow for privacy and the benefits of a rural atmosphere but easy to drive to. The home is well maintained, and clean. The property is huge and there is a large outdoor fire pit which was very enjoyable as we watched the fireflies. Every room is large and their home is even better than the pictures. The hosts were very responsive although we didn’t have much need to reach out as everything was in order. Do not hesitate to book!

WOW! This place was the total package. The home was comfortable, spotless, and in a quiet, beautiful location in Wears Valley. The property itself was gorgeous, and it felt peaceful while still being convenient to everything we wanted to do.Communication with the host was excellent and made the whole stay easy from start to finish. We were also pleasantly surprised by how much space the home offered for the price.We would absolutely stay here again and look forward to coming back!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We were in town for AAU Gymnastics Nationals and wanted a place where our family could relax and recharge between the excitement of competition and all the activities we had planned. This house was perfect.The home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone. One of our favorite parts was the wraparound porch. We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the peaceful setting, drinking coffee in the mornings and enjoying the view when we weren’t on the go. The hot tub was also a huge hit with the kids.The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do, but still felt quiet and relaxing when we came back at the end of the day. It truly felt like a home away from home. The host was great, communication was easy, and everything was exactly as described. Our family made some wonderful memories during this trip, and this house was a big part of that. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Awesome for Families

It was a beautiful home, very spacious, with plenty of room for families. It is in a quiet neighborhood not too far from Pigeon Forge. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Very responsive and kind host. Beautiful home, beautiful view. Perfect for larger families. The pool that we had access to was beautiful and the cafe there was wonderful. We will be back, our family has fallen in love with this home.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The farmhouse was so clean and spacious for our family of 5. The yard was huge for our kids to play and roam freely. Proximity to all the activities in town was super convenient. Communication with our hosts was easy and they were very attentive. We would love to come stay again!

Great family-friendly farmhouse.

This is our second stay at the farmhouse! The kitchen is very well equipped We appreciate all the amenities and kid-friendly toys and environment. The large, flat yard is a big plus.

The Sixty-Seventy pack

Everything was great, very clean and had a wonderful stay. The only drawback was the mattress on our beds was firm and we all would rather have it be softer on our old bones. :) otherwise it was great! It's a beautiful area!

College Reunion

We have an annual reunion in the Smokies and the group has expanded causing us to need more space. The Farmhouse was perfect. We had plenty of room, the house and the property were beautiful and the owners were great to work with.

Beautiful place to stay!!

The place is perfect for family getaway! We had eight people stay here and it was extremely comfortable. The place is beautiful and nestled right in the middle of Wears Valley. It’s perfect if you want to experience the mountains, but not have to drive any treacherous roads to get to your place. I highly recommend This lovely farmhouse! We will be back.

Farmhouse in Wears Valley

This farmhouse on Katy Hollar in Wears Valley was a wonderful place to stay with plenty of room for our family. It was very clean and well-stocked. The owners, Patty and Joe, were very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely rent from them again!

Beautiful view; Excellent Communication

We loved our stay, and the hosts were helpful. The house was clean and nicely furnished. A big rain storm knocked down a tree across the driveway, and the hosts had it cleared right away. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the back porch and watching deer graze amongst the trees.

Great place great location

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse. A very clean and spacious house that had everything we needed or wanted, with a well-equipped kitchen. The location is great, just a short drive to Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, and far enough away for peace and quiet. After I arrived, I had a couple of questions for the owners, and they were very quick to respond. I highly recommend this place.

Enjoyed our stay very much. 8 adults and 3 young children. Pictures and description are accurate. Home is up mountain short distance from Wears Valley Road, a very easy drive on paved road. Looks newly remodeled inside. Game area for kids, living room, large kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths. Very clean. Porch around home. Everyone loved the clean hot tub. Lots of outdoor chairs for porch sittings. Lighted area for fire pit. Great view over open field from front porch. Saw a bear, woodchuck, several turkey and several deer. Long table in kitchen which fit everyone. Very comfortable home. Would stay again.

Grandparent vacation with the 4 youngest

The set up of the home was perfect for our group. The kids loved the game tables and the space to play outside. Located just outside of the busy tourist spots to relax and unwind but just a quick car ride to all the fun. We enjoyed the sunsets on the porch and watching all the wildlife, from deer to rabbits and even a bear! Will definitely be staying here again.
