Fast Wifi Secluded Cabin Near Douglas Lake

Enjoy the adventure of the mountains without dealing with any scary roads! All roads leading to the cabin are wide, paved and gently sloping. There is free parking for 4 vehicles at the cabin OR 2 vehicles and a small boat.

This cabin offers access to a shared community pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day) that is about a 3 minute drive from the cabin.

The cabin is in a quiet section of a lakeside community with only a few cabins nearby so you'll feel private and secure while still being close to the action.

Please note the wood burning fireplace is not functional and there is an electric heater inside the fireplace instead.

This home is full of charm featuring traditional cabin decor furniture with a modern twist. The cabin has one master bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom, one open loft bedroom with a king bed, and one bedroom with two queen beds.

If you want to work from home, we have you covered with Starlink satellite high-speed internet.

Cozy up with a blanket while watching all of your favorite shows on our big screen Smart TV and log into your Netflix account or any other service you personally pay for.

The highlight of this cabin is its secluded wooded location. This cabin comes with its own slice of Smoky Mountain forest. Throw a few steaks on the gas grill and relax with a beer outside on the deck or one of the cabin’s multiple balconies and enjoy the sights and sounds of our local wildlife.

We also have a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals if you're having a night in.

The cabin is also stocked up with board games for your entertainment.

While the home has space for 8 people to sleep comfortably, please note that one bedroom is an open air loft with NO DOOR upstairs.

A few things to note:
-You will need to climb a few steps from the drive way to the front door

-There is a flight of stairs from the main living area to the master bedroom and loft

-The loft bedroom has NO DOOR. Please keep that in mind for privacy

-The master bathroom is separated from the bedroom with a privacy curtain. There is no locking door to the bathroom

-The cabin does not have an outdoor hot tub.

-For the security of our property and guests, there is a ring floodlight on the front of the cabin pointing at the driveway. The neighborhood is very safe but it helps us keep an eye on the property

-If more guests than listed guest count are present on premises, the entire party may be escorted off the property without a refund

- Like all cabins in the woods, this house is on a septic system, do not throw anything but toilet paper into the toilets

-Hosts are not liable for any falls or injury on the property.

-Our favorite part of the area is how close we are to nature. You may see Mama Bear and her cubs while visiting. They are some of our favorite neighbors so please enjoy watching them from a distance and do not feed or approach them. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OR TRASH IN YOUR CAR as they may try to break in to get it

-Due to severe allergies, NO pets are allowed. If a bed enters the property a $250 fee will be charged automatically.
