Great Clean place to stay, would go back

We had two families with a total of 4 kids staying for a long weekend. Michael and Steph checked in via email a few times and were wonderful hosts! We had a great time indoors with board games and air hockey and the firepit was put to good use outdoors. Overall a great stay and we would absolutely consider coming back next time we are in the area.

We had a wonderful week at this cabin. Plenty of bedroom space. Hot tub. Grill. Full kitchen. Games. Lots of things for the kids to do while we were chilling away from all of the action in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Definitely recommend it.

Cabin in the Woods

The cabin is located conveniently and in a beautiful spot in the mountains. We enjoyed sitting on the front and back porches and watching the wildlife, including a curious bear! We did not cook in, so can not speak to the kitchen, but I was pleased that it was well stocked with wipes, soaps, etc. The bathrooms were as well. The cabin could use a deep clean and some updates. The host was very easy to work with and very responsive.

This cabin had everything you need. It was a great layout with the bedrooms on the 3 different floors. The foozball table and air hockey table were a hit. A few minor things pointed out to the owner via email that were attended to quickly. Very responsive

Loved it. Small things that were inconvenient. No plug for drain in tub on main level. Plug for lower level tub was small. Door going to porch, has no screws holding it. Didn’t feel like it was secure. There were 2 screws under steps. I tried to put those in. Couldn’t without screw driver. Nothing major. We did our best to return it as we found it. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

The place could use a deep clean. We don’t walk in with white gloves but there was dust hanging on the walls and ceiling in the upstairs bedroom. I had to clean the nightstand myself because it was all sticky. They offered to send somebody out but I didn’t want them stirring up all that dust over our bed. The showers were not in great shape. The hot tub was in good working order but the cover is awful. There were no rocking chairs on the back deck. The fire pit is on such a slope I’m not sure it would be comfortable to sit in any of the chairs. One of the chairs looked dangerous because of the way it was leaning. This house was less than most of the other houses I looked at which played a factor in renting it for just three nights in TN. If I had to do it again, I would’ve spent a little bit more for a different property.
