My wife and I stayed at this cabin for our 25th anniversary trip with a couple of our friends for the week. Upon check in, we noticed that there were no TV's in the living room area or any of the bedrooms. We were kind of bummed about this at first, but by the second night, we all realized that we actually enjoyed that they weren't in these areas. There is an outdoor screened in balcony deck with a portable heater/fireplace, a pull down screen, and an overhead projector. Every night, winding down, prior to going to bed, we all sat in this area, watched a movie, and enjoyed our time spent together out there. Which honestly, was much, much, much better than just all going to our separate bedrooms and watching TV there. If you're like me, and need the TV background noise to sleep, I literally just streamed TV through my phone and sat it on the stand, turned down low, so that I had the sound in the background still. My 1st morning there, after sleeping, I woke up at 6am, got a cup of coffee, and went out to the enclosed balcony to enjoy the sunrise. At approximately 7am, I watched as a bear walked slowly up the front yard beside the driveway and passed right by me, and into the neighbors yard, and then eventually into the woods. Our second to last night, we enjoyed the fire pit behind the cabin, the light strings around it illuminated the area just right, and made the experience amazing. The owners were very friendly and I enjoyed our message exchanges. Would love to stay again.
