Welcome to Foothills Hideaway - our 3 bedroom authentic log cabin retreat is nestled in the magical woods, but also just minutes from town.

With lots of natural light and multiple decks to enjoy the forest views, peace of mind is guaranteed! Everything you could want for a relaxing mountain getaway.

Welcome to our centrally located 3-story log cabin nestled in the national forest away from the road noise on the side of a mountain.

This house is our second home, so we take exceptional care of the space. We manage the house ourselves and work with a professional cleaning service. We guarantee that the home is expertly cleaned including all sheets and towels after every reservation.

Master – On its own upper level: king bed with luxurious en suite bathroom
Bedroom #2 – Queen Bed
Bedroom #3 – Full over full bunk bed


NOTE: Cars with AWD is recommended during the winter months - icy/snowy times. There is one steeper hill leading to our home.

The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal for your family and comfortably live in the house for a week or longer. A crock pot, 12 cup coffee maker, 4 slice toaster, grilling tools, knife set, blender, complete place setting for 10, place setting for 8, along with wine glasses, and both glass and plastic cups.

Guests must be at least 25 years old to rent this property and the person who rents must remain for the duration of the rental term. Absolutely NO parties are allowed. Parking available for 3 vehicles. We have zero issues terminating a rental if a party is thrown and our house disrespected. We keep it nice for all of our guests.

You are in nature. Make friends with the critters. You may come across lady bugs, millipedes, or carpenter bees of the forest.

We loved the area this was in. It was perfect for what we were there for that weekend. The bunkbed room was definitely different than pictured. It was much, much smaller and wasn't any room to maneuver in there. Overall it was a great stay and the host was extremely communicative and pleasant.

Great stay!

My family and I stayed 4 nights in this awesome little cabin and had such a great time! Our kids had an amazing time hanging out down stairs playing pool, enjoying the video games and relaxing in the jacuzzi. The cable was so clean and had everything we needed to complete our stay. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home and hope we can stay here again in the future.

A Perfectly Lovely Cabin

We loved our time in this cabin!! It was clean, cozy, and spacious! The location is great - a close drive to everything but still feels like you’re getting away from the crowds. Our kids really enjoyed the game room - the perfect entertainment on a rainy day, or after a long day of hiking. The kitchen had everything we needed for our week long stay and was very clean. Also, having 3 bathrooms and a washer & dryer was a huge bonus for our family of 5! The hosts were very communicative, responsive, and great to work with! Our family truly enjoyed our time here and we hope to visit again one day. We highly recommend this lovely cabin to others!!

Amazing......

My husband and I spent 5 days in this classy, cozy cabin and didn't want to leave. We've been renting cabins in the Smokies for 12 years and this one is by far the best. Every consideration has been given to a renter's needs. The cabin is spotless and I'm a stickler for cleanliness. Easy access to the Parkway, quiet neighborhood, peaceful and serene. Carrie and Josh were amazing to work with - GREAT communication. We will definitely be back to this one. We've found "our" cabin!

Overall great experience! Home was clean and had everything we needed! Great location right off Parkway with easy access to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Owners were great and made sure we had everything we needed!

Recommended but needs little attention.

Enjoyed our stay and would def stay again only if we cannot find something else a little more updated for the price. Few things need to be addressed, pics are not up to date, both porch areas furniture included needs a good pressure cleaning and cob webs need to be removed most likely monthly or every time it’s cleaned. The interior could use some upgrades feels kinda of dingy but was as clean as you can get it. All in All it’s a good property and we enjoyed our time.

Tennessee Getaway

We are a family of 8 and this cabin was the perfect fit for our family. The property managers helped with some food recommendations upon request and were easy to contact. We felt like we were in the perfect spot between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We even got to see a bear on our road the last day of trip!

Perfect House near Gaitlinburg

Everything about this home I absolutely fell in love with importantly was the communication/detail of my booking and the owner's detail of making sure I "knew" where I was going and how to use the home. Nice stay

We had a nice stay. Very clean and close to everything. Not big on the smart tv and streaming channels, not everyone has a netflix account or uses other apps, so that was a downfall for us. After being gone all day and wanted to watch tv at night to relax, it was not the best from internet. Hot tub was nice but did have an odor, almost mildew like. Nice time though.

Perfect mountain retreat

I stayed here with my kids for a mountain getaway. We visited the Smokies, checked out Gatlinburg, and went to Dollywood, and the location of the cabin was convenient for everything. We were excited about the cabin based on the pictures and description I'm the listing, and it exceeded our expectations. Carrie and Josh were organized and easy to get in touch with. I would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay!

Amazing

The cabin is exactly like the pictures. The only thing is the hot tub didn’t have any chemicals and it smelled bad couldn’t get in it. Other than that we all had a blast. Will definitely be back.

Perfect spot!!

Property is beautiful, well maintained, has every amenity you could ask for and the hot tub and fireplaces are delightful! So close to everything, there is not a lack of something to do if you want to fill your time out and about. However, the cabin is a delightful place to just get lost in the relaxation and serenity of the mountains. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Weeked!

Great weekend with our adult children! The cabin was as pictured. We enjoyed the space and the game room made for a fun Saturday night. The location was great—close to everything. It was a narrow winding road up the mountain, but we didn’t have any issues. We would definitely stay here again.
