From the moment you open the front door, it hits you, a wall of shimmering turquoise and endless horizon stretching out before you, stealing your breath and stopping you in your tracks. This isn’t just a view—it’s a masterpiece of Grand Cayman’s iconic Seven Mile Beach, unfolding in an unobstructed sweep all the way to the northern tip of West Bay.



The Space:

This top-floor 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo spans the entire second level of a two-story building and is designed to maximize what makes it unforgettable: that mesmerizing, front-row panorama of the Caribbean Sea. With 1,712 square feet of airy, light-filled living space, Tamarind Bay #16 delivers a full-on ocean experience from nearly every room. Whether you’re lounging in the living room, prepping dinner in the kitchen, or waking up in the master suite, the views are never just “there”—they demand your attention.



Step through any of the oversized sliding glass doors—from the living room, den, or master—and you’re on the screened-in lanai. This is your private perch above the sea, where mornings begin with coffee and sea breezes and evenings wind down with sunset cocktails and the gentle crash of waves. With unobstructed sightlines up the entire stretch of Seven Mile Beach, it’s the kind of vantage point that makes you linger a little longer... then a little more.



Inside, the open-concept layout is bright, welcoming, and perfectly suited for groups or families. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for effortless meals at home, including modern appliances, a full-size fridge with an ice dispenser, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and plenty of cookware and dishes. Gather at the dining table or around the kitchen counter for casual meals, or head outside for a dinner with a side of sea views.



The sleeping arrangements are made for comfort and flexibility. The ocean-facing primary bedroom features a king bed and ensuite bathroom. There is a 2nd bathroom in the hallway with a soaking tub—ideal for a quiet moment of luxury. The second bedroom includes a king bed and a twin sofa sleeper, perfect for a couple or a small family. The third sleeping area, a cozy den with a queen sleeper sofa, opens directly to the lanai and offers yet another stunning view of the water.



Both bathrooms are updated and thoughtfully stocked with fresh linens, bath and beach towels, a hair dryer and iron. You’ll also enjoy the convenience of in-unit laundry, high-speed Wi-Fi, HDTVs, keyless entry, and reserved parking.



When it’s time to head outside, the community’s beachfront pool awaits—complete with loungers, umbrellas, shaded cabanas, and BBQ grills for evening cookouts. There’s a tennis court for a little friendly competition, and snorkeling right off the seawall. If you decide to venture further north to other beachfront areas of Seven Mile Beach we make it easy by including lightweight beach chairs and towels for your adventures.



And don’t worry about driving unless you want to—restaurants, shops, and water sports (including those offered by the nearby Marriott) are all within easy walking distance. Public transportation is convenient, taxis are readily available, and if you’re up for exploring, Andy’s Car Rental is located right across the street.



Whether you’re here to dive, snorkel, sunbathe, or simply soak in those views, Tamarind Bay #16 is your front-row seat to everything Grand Cayman has to offer. From unforgettable sunsets to the stunning sweep of Seven Mile Beach, this is more than a vacation rental—it’s a window to paradise.



Guest Access:

The Guest have access to the entire condo as well as the pool, tennis court, and BBQ areas.



The Neighborhood:

Apart from being constantly sought after for its world class beaches and crystal clear water, Seven Mile Beach also offers many diverse dining, shopping and amenities that might not be expected on an island.



Many things are within walking distance and public transportation is very good in the area so it is not also necessary to have a vehicle if you just intend to stay in the area and enjoy the many offerings.



Getting Around:

Although recommended for convenience a rental car isn't absolutely necessary as you can walk to most restaurants, etc. which are 1-10 mins away on foot. Taxis are also easily available.



Alternatively, there is public transportation on our road, West Bay Road that travels along the Seven Mile Beach strip.



If you are taking part in an organized tour, most tour operators will have door to door transportation.



Other Things to Note:

Tamarind Bay consists of 28 units, which are a mixture of short and long term rentals as well as owner occupied units.



Unit # 16 is located on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator available so you will be required to use the stairs.



There is 1 parking space reserved for the unit for your use.



The tennis court is available for free during the day however there is a small fee of US$12.00 for using the court during the night.



Please note that as of December 1st, 2025, there is a small stretch of beach in front of the seawall. We do not advertise this property as beachfront in order to avoid any misunderstandings or mismatched guest expectations.



Interaction with Guests:

The onsite Manager Kathy will assist you at check in on the day of your arrival and if you have any issues during your stay. In order to ensure that Kathy is available at the site office when you arrive, we will require details of your flight and arrival time. Kathy can also assist you with any guidance and recommendations you need and our Team at Property Management Cayman are also available if our guests require additional assistance.

This is a beautiful, fully furnished house right on Seven Mile Beach. The views are amazing, and it’s one of the best spots to watch the sunset. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which makes the location even better. Overall, a fantastic place to stay—10/10.

Beautiful property - perfect getaway spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tamarind Bay over the holiday break. Conveniently located between downtown, Camana Bay and Seven Mile beach, most places were walkable even though we had rented a car. The property was incredibly spacious with our favorite spot being the screened porch for coffee in the mornings and Cocktails in the evenings. This property supplied everything we needed for beach excursions or pool days. We would definitely book again.

Oceanfront with Stunning View Apartment

Our stay in this apartment was more then home! Beautifully furnished, clean and well equipped apartment as described, it has stunning view! If we ever return to Cayman Island, this will be our first choice!!

What a view!

The condo must have one of the best ocean views on the island - and it is in a fantastic location with easy access to Seven Mile Beach and with Camana Bay and other shops/restaurants all within walking distance. And one of the best condo pools. We are a family of 7 and the condo had loads of space and everything we needed. It was exactly as listed. Kathy, the property manager, is excellent. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back...

We had an incredible 5-night stay...the views from this condo are amazing. Our family of 6 had plenty of room and really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the entire complex was. Great location on 7-mile with easy access to shops, stores, and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing views - wonderful condo

So glad we chose this over the many others in different complexes. Everything was exactly as described. Situated right next to Hampton, Marriott, Regal club, South Bay club. Never far to go to for food, shopping, Camana Bay. Coconut Joes, Peppers, Marriott restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. Condo was immaculate and had more than everything we needed.

First time to Cayman

My wife and I had a wonderful vacation in Cayman Islands. The listing for this condo was very accurate. Centrally located on Seven Mile beach-close to many restaurants and Georgetown. The view and sunsets from the condo were perfect. The covered/screened in patio was awesome. Weather couldn’t have been better. We will definitely come back.

Perfect beach vacation spot.

Just returned from a stay at this condo. We traveled with another couple. The condo was the perfect size for four people and could accommodate more. The location was perfect and the condo had everything that we needed for our four day stay. There is limited beach area but that is typically all along the 7 mile beach right now and there are beach entry spots all along the strip in really close walking distance. We chose to enjoy Governors beach which was spectacular! Overall a great time, thanks also to Kathy the property manager. She was fantastic and very responsive. We will be back.

Hard to leave this beautiful spot!

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family with 4 teenagers. We have been coming to Cayman and staying at condos on this end of SMB since 2009 but this was our first time at Tamarind Bay and it was beautiful. We particularly love snorkeling and directly in front of and to the left of the complex is some of the best snorkeling on the island. The condo was immaculate and well appointed and it feels really large. The views from every room and the large screened porch are just amazing. We rent a car to explore the island but you can manage without one as you are walking distance to all kinds of great dining and Foster’s grocery at Camana Bay.

Immaculate Home with a Spectacular View

This home was truly spectacular. Immaculate upon entry and fully equipped. Quality beds and furniture. The view is just overwhelming - You wake up in the master bedroom and you feel like you're floating on the ocean. It's so close to the ocean that you can't even see the beach, all you see is water and all you hear is the waves gently rolling in. Kathy, the property manager, was stellar. Not only was she there to meet us for an early arrival, she also helped us to coordinate a nurse to come on site to perform our exit Covid tests. The only flawed and the whole experience is that the beach at the property is mostly rocks. You really can't go in the water. Plus there was an abundance of seaweed which made it less than inviting. But the pool is wonderful and if you really want beach, you can walk down about 50 feet to the Marriott and walk right out into the water at their beach. Overall, 5 Stars+!!

Great view!

We were very impressed with the size of this condo and the view of the water was spectacular. The kitchen was very well equipped and the whole place spotless. Kathy, the manager was very helpful and even bought us some groceries for our first morning there as our plane was delayed and we arrived too late to do any grocery shopping. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit.

Sunset paradise

Great location, overlooking the ocean with terrific sunsets each evening. Well-stocked with everything one could need to feed our family. Lovely beachy decor added to our feeling of rest and relaxation, and being in 'vacation mode'. This is our second visit, and we will return!

Graduation trip

Beautiful condo in a great location. The only negative is I wish the photos were updated to show the condition of the beach (or lack of). We were shocked upon arrival to find there was no beach at all. It’s been washed away. Nothing like the photos. The condo interior is accurately represented. Stunning views you have to see to believe. The screened patio made for lovely outdoor coffee and breakfast. Easy to walk to nearby restaurants. Overall a great stay but wish we had known we would not be able to walk the beach.

Appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment. The location to the pool is literally one minute away. Ease of several restaurants and scuba gear within a few minutes of walking. The property manager lives on site and has been here more than 25 years, Henry the grounds manager 20 years. The housekeeper over 10 years. It’s like a family is here to take care of everything we could possibly need or want. We always felt safe and secure. As wonderful as everything went...there’s just not earthly words to describe the scene from the front of the apartment. Pure 100% all ocean. Just so gorgeous. And we can hear the waves all night. Met several families at the pool that have been coming back here over 10 years. It’s just that type of neighborhood, safe, comfortable, easy access to anything. And knowing Henry and Kathy are available for anything we might need offers additional security. Thank you for the remarkable experience and celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary.

Beautiful Condo over the water

The condo is beautiful, great location, spacious, very well equipped and very private. The sunsets are spectacular, and the pool area is well maintained and not busy. I personally also enjoyed the fact that the Dive Shop was just across the street, as well as the car rental and Coconut Joe's Grill ourdoor restaurant. However, the beach in front of Tamarind Bay is gone for now due to some strong currents during the last few hurricanes in the vicinity. I hope the Government will start building up the beach again soon as it also affects the Marriott next door and other communities.

The best on Seven Mile!

We are so grateful for having found this gem. Michael and Kandi have taken great care to renovate this Condo and every detail has been thought through. The extraordinarily comfortable Master Bed, the well-appointed kitchen and the windows to capture the best view we’ve ever seen. Please treat this as if it was your own to keep the owners happy and continue to provide this amazing property to rent. The pictures somewhat display the proximity to the water, but the short distance, with near perfect sand, snorkeling, and restaurants nearby creates a uniquely perfect location.

Beautiful "beachy" condo direct oceanfront, with a beautiful white sand beach just a couple steps away (a tad small after the 2017 hurricane season, but building back). The condo is large, spacious, with a wonderful screened-in deck. Walking distance to some great beach bars and restaurants. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, as are the owners Michael and Kandi. Great snorkeling right out front. Quiet at night, with the light sound of crashing waves. Designated parking spot, well maintained property. We will be back!
