Viatges a Sesmarias dos Nobres

The accommodation was well placed for restaurants. We enjoyed a visit to Grill & Chill just up the street. It was also close to the green line metro. The lack of a lift in building wasn't great as we were in the top floor. It was 86 steps from the front door to our room. The air-conditioning was really good and very welcome after a day sightseeing. The room/apartment showed signs of wear and tear that needs addressed. That all said, we were using it as a base and didn't spend very long in the room.

Everything is excellent apart from the soundproofing. Wooden floors and paper thin walls make it noisy accommodation or I was unlucky to be in particular part of hotel

We were only there long enough to shower and grab 4 hrs sleep but we’re impressed by cleanliness and modern less of facility. Walking distance to mall with food court and close to airport.

The best things about this hotel are (1) the wonderful staff, most friendly and helpful, (2) the comforting multipurpose living/dining room/open kitchen, (3) the Bairro Alto neighborhood, with delightful surprises at every turn. The disappointments are (1) the lack of views, despite the hotel’s name, (2) our tiny room with practically zero space/hangers for personal items or movements, and (3) what little surfaces the room has were taken over by senseless knick-knacks. An area for easy improvement would be the breakfast: fresher breads with more variety.
