"Wonderful budget hotel option with valley views down to the Mediterranean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Our host was very friendly and helpful. Parking is provided just off the main parking lot for a discounted rate, and our host helpfully parked for us so we wouldn’t have to navigate the tight corners. "Our room was great - good size and very clean. We had a fabulous view from our balcony across to the port of Amalfi. Breakfast was on the first floor balcony which also had a great view over the beach and port. Breakfast was not a buffet as we have been used to so options were limited but the coffee and staff were great! The location of the hotel was so central to everything in Amalfi town - the cathedral, restaurants, the bus and ferry stations. Highly recommend Hotel Residence in Amalfi. "

They were both lovely and the highlight of our stay. While it wouldn’t affect our decision to stay there again, the beds are quite firm. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend this hotel. "

"Beautiful ocean view from our room! Room was small but very nice! Perfect for 3 night stay! Beach view was great as well. Close to the ferries! It was hard to find, but a gentleman close by helped us with directions. Several stairs to climb but we didn’t mind. Very friendly women at check in! "Premium location with ultimate customer service. Steps from the port and across the street and one small alley to main square. We so appreciated Angelo’s help with the luggage, and Maria and Ileana for everything else. Breakfast is served on a tray in your room, so decadent and romantic:). Our room had a huge terrace and a hot tub. Just a note— Rooms are up 4 steep flights of stairs. Baggage help is great!"
