Ideal for families looking for an excellent ski getaway on Semmering. Spacious private luxury apartments, near ski lifts and fully equipped for comfort after a day on the slopes.

Located on the first floor, the apartment with mountain view features two bedrooms that can be made into double or twin beds, a fully equipped kitchen and an elevated view of the beautiful surrounding area.

Villa Wellspacher is a great choice for a stay in Semmering, conveniently situated near the train station and a few minutes from the slopes. Free WiFi and parking are included and guests looking to stay active can experience the nearby hiking/biking trails in the summer or ski and snowboard on the nearby slopes. The local ski school is a great place to learn and the sledging offers fun for all ages. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and villas offer conveniences such as kitchens and washers/dryers. You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party

About the property
Villa Wellspacher shares a rich history with Semmering and the surrounding area. The property upon which Villa Wellspacher is constructed was bought by a Factory owner in Schottwien named Wellspacher, on which he had the house erected in the late 1800s. It was constructed in the famous Villa Architecture of those days by the same architect which designed the chapel located on the high street on Semmering, which could easily be observed by the similar design of the roof. The house can be read up on in the book “Villenarchitektur am Semmering”, which was written by Günther Buchinger and published in 2006 and a painting of it can be found in the Alte Leopoldsapotheke located on Plankengasse near the Dorotheum (Auction house est. 1707) in Vienna. Formerly known as the Vecaj Villa (pronounced ve-chai), a name that it had acquired during the years it was operated and run as a Healing water institution in the early 1900s by a Hungarian Doctor of that name, the house was completely reconstructed in 2009 and reopened its doors as Villa Wellspacher, a private luxury Apartment accommodation provider in December 2011.

About the host
After many years of studying hotel/hospitality and tourism management leading to many more years in the 5* hotel industry I finally decided to steer my career into the direction of international travel whilst maintaining my passion for hotels and hospitality by opening and managing the wonderful Villa Wellspacher located in Semmering, Austria. Currently I do this as well as manage my bespoke travel website, both with a passion for delivering outstanding service but maintaining the personality which leads to a more comfortable, easy going but high standard relationship with my clients and guests. Villa Wellspacher's moto is your home away from home but still offer an exceptional temporary home to others unlike any other. About the neighborhood Villa Wellspacher is quietly located in the Schneebergblick Siedlung (Snow Mountain View Settlement/Neighbourhood) on Semmering, the nearest ski resort to Vienna (90km) and enjoys beautiful surroundings of nature and breath-taking views of both the Schneeberg and Sonnwendstein mountains.

House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- There are free parking on premises parking facilities available at the property.
- Pets are allowed at the property with a surcharge and must be arranged prior to arrival for preparation of the apartment.

Spacious apartment very close to Semmering

We were with family in the apartment. The communication of the host was very nice and very smooth and the apartment is big the kitchen is well equipped. Semmering center is close and Stuhleck was 10 min drive, so also close. Only difference I could mention to the description that we had only one bathroom instead of two.
