The Space:

Where Rustic Meets Adventure & Big Gatherings Feel Like Summer Camp



Tucked away in Selma, Oregon—right on the way to the Redwoods—The Bunkhouse is the ultimate group getaway, designed to bring folks together for good times, great food, and the kind of late-night storytelling that only happens when you're surrounded by fresh air and open skies. Whether you're planning a reunion, a retreat, or just gathering your crew for a weekend of adventure, this spacious yet cozy hideaway is built for connection, comfort, and a little bit of that old-school summer camp magic.



Sleeping Arrangements –

Room for the whole gang, eight semi-private bunk rooms (separated by privacy curtains) keep things communal while offering a little personal space: six rooms with twin beds, two rooms with full beds, sleeps 16-20 guests comfortably, each bunk has a comfortable mattress and protector, and guests can bring their own bedding or rent a full bedding set for $20 per bed.



Common Areas –

Cozy spaces to gather & relax at the heart of The Bunkhouse, a central hallway divides the space into two main areas: A huge dining table (seats 16) for family-style meals, game nights, and laughter-filled feasts, a plush leather couch lounge surrounding a wood-burning fireplace—perfect for cozy nights, long talks, and warming up after a day of outdoor fun. A covered patio with additional seating, so you can take the party outside and enjoy meals in the fresh mountain air.



Kitchen & Dining –

Feed the whole crew! The fully stocked country kitchen has everything you need to fuel your adventures: electric stove, oven, full-size refrigerator & freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster & blender, dishes & cookware for 20 extra seating for four for those early risers who need their coffee before anyone else wakes up.



Bathrooms & Showers –

No roughin’ it here with plenty of space for everyone to clean up, The Bunkhouse features: four private showers, two double-sink vanity rooms, two private toilets, fresh towels provided.



Outdoor Fun –

Because no stay at The Bunkhouse is complete without some friendly competition, two covered patios with picnic tables (seating 8-14), a huge meadow for yard games, three horseshoe pits, tetherball, croquet, cornhole, and plenty of space to run, play, and soak up the sunshine. This shared outdoor space is also used by guests in the Cowgirl Cabin and is available to all ranch guests, making it the perfect spot to mingle, challenge your friends to a game, or just sit back and watch the fun unfold.

Please note that this is a working ranch and because of this you may encounter the sound of chainsaws, the tractor or 4wheeler driving around or we may be burning debris. We can’t guarantee absolute quiet, but we do respect the quiet hours of 10pm - 8am.



Also, we have recently become a VanLife Campground. This means that we host digital nomads who camp and live here in their vans or trailers. The campground is now located behind the Mystic’s Cottage. Our campers are all working from home and are super respectful and super friendly.

Whisper Canyon Ranch is tucked away in the countryside, where the air is fresher, the stars shine brighter, and traffic jams just don’t exist. But that also means you’ll need a car—there’s no public transportation out here, and rideshares are pretty hit or miss.



Driving Details: The ranch is easily accessible via a well-maintained gravel road—no off-roading required! Free parking is available on-site for all guests. Highway 199 is just minutes away, making it easy to explore local spots like Lake Selmac, the Illinois River, and Cave Junction, or take a scenic drive to Grants Pass, the Redwoods, or the coast.
