Jedoch ist der Bau selbst noch nicht fertiggestellt, die elektrischen Installationen funktionieren nur teilweise und das Haus hat trotz moderner Anmutung z.T. bereits deutliche Abnutzungserscheinungen und Baumängel. Die Einrichtung ist funktionell und nüchtern. Gute Lage am Golden Circle mit schöner Aussicht. "This place is 5 stars. We stayed at one of two cabin’s on Renate’s horse farm. Our cabin was located close enough to Selfoss, and Golden Circle, but far enough where you have a peaceful river, horses, and quiet. We read about how folks wished they had more time here, and made it a point to stay for three nights, so we could enjoy the cabin, land, and views on mornings and evenings after touring. "Our stay at the Lake Palace was wonderful. The home is beautifully situated, spacious, and well equipped. The host was very accommodating and provided a crib and high chair for us to use for our little one. Soaking in the hot tub with a view of the mountains was an incredible way to unwind after a day of hiking. We highly recommend staying here!"
