"Einfach super. Man ist zu Fuß super schnell in Ella, hat aber eine ruhige Lage, jenseits des Trubels. Der Frühstücksblick geht ins Grüne. Das Frühstück selbst ist der Wahnsinn. Entweder Sri Lankisch, und immer Abwechslungsreich, oder europäisch. Familiengeführt und die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich bemüht und freundlich, mit hervorragendem Englisch. Die Unterkunft ist einfach und in Preis-Leistung für mich unschlagbar."

Ook de locatie was ideaal – rustig gelegen, maar toch dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en stond altijd klaar voor vragen of tips. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Kortom: een plek waar we ons direct thuis voelden en zeker nog eens zouden terugkomen. Van harte aanbevolen!"

The hotel is at the top of a steep hill and was a bit tricky to find but once we found it, I could not fault anything about the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. "An amazing experience, sleeping in the canopy of the forest. We saw lots of animals and fireflies at night. Accommodation is basic as you would expect but beds and bathroom were clean. Ella is a 5-10 minute walk away via the railway tracks. Route was easy to find as directed by our host. Breakfast was delicious and filling."
