"I appreciated the walking distance to the beach as well as staff that is just amazing! Also, the location is perfect as it is close to the beach but not right on the beach where the most of the bars and restaurants are located, while distant enough from the main road. Breakfast is nice and served with great attention by the staff that is friendly and professional despite long working hours ( most of them were there the whole day). "

"Our 7 days at DCanal were lovely, it’s very peaceful, tucked away in the back streets. The free tuk tuk service to the town was very helpful. The pool, the staff, and the beaches nearby were a wonderful place to unplug. "

"Das Hotel ist wirklich toll gelegen, mitten in der Natur und alles ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Wir hatten ein tolles Bungalow, sehr geräumig und äußerst sauber. Das Bad war besonders toll eingerichtet, ein richtiges Highlight. Der Pool Nähe der Rezeption läd zum verweilen ein, es gibt kostenlose Getränke und man kann sogar den kostenlosen Tuk Tuk Service in Anspruch nehmen. "Overall, this hotel is very average. There were a few positive and negatives. I’ll start with the positives. After asking for water and toiletries, they were eventually provided. "Wonderful setting. We stayed in 'Pepper Cottage' and felt like we were in the jungle - but in a safe way. Best massages we had in Sri Lanka. Also the best breakfast - it was just so beautifully prepared. Location is set back off a main road - which you cannot hear - but this meant it was easy to walk to nearby restaurants."

"We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again"

"We returned for our 4 day Mirissa trip and stayed at Central Beach. The hospitality, atmosphere and comfort was wonderful during our last stay and once again, met our expectations. The restaurant has really good food, variety, fresh seafood, and kind, helpful staff. This hotel has a beautiful beachside location, is a walkable distance to stores, restaurants, a doctor and gift shops. We are definitely going to be repeat visitors. "

"Staff/owners are lovely and so helpful. Parked our tuktuk at the bottom of the short path (2mins to the hotel from tuktuk) Wifi great. We upgraded during our stay as we was originally in a double room with no AC. It was far too small and hot. So we then paid to move upstairs. The room had AC and was bigger for our cases. Area is fine. Food and beach nerby. "
