We chose this property — and paid a premium price — specifically for the heated pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, both amenities were unusable for 4 of the 5 days of our stay, which completely changed the experience we thought we were paying for. The issues were reported during the trip, but they were not resolved in any meaningful timeframe and several after-hours calls went unanswered with no reply. Losing access to the main advertised amenities for nearly the entire stay made the property feel significantly overpriced for what was actually delivered.In addition, the overall cleanliness of the home was disappointing. The property did not appear to be cleaned to the standard we expected, and we also encountered bugs inside the home during our stay, which made the experience even more uncomfortable.What was most frustrating was the lack of urgency and accountability regarding issues that directly affected the quality of the stay. If major amenities are unavailable and the property is not being properly maintained, prospective guests should be informed before booking rather than discovering these problems after arrival.Had we known the condition of the property and that the pool and hot tub would be unavailable for most of the trip, we absolutely would have booked elsewhere. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution future guests against relying solely on the listing description and advertised amenities when making their decision.
