Què no li ha agradat: Neteja
Host was welcoming and communications were good. The stay however did not match my expectations, which weren't that high considering it's a low floor unit in an older Belltown building. I was expecting street noise and the usual Belltown pedestrian traffic, but I was very disappointed in the unit itself. The place looked better online than in person, but it was the fact that many things were in disrepair or otherwise unbecoming for a vacation rental. There were tattered, faded pillows on the sofa, the primary tub was stained and the kitchen was very sparsley equipped; it seemed more suited for college kids than adult vacationers. The coffee maker didn't work, the oven smoked when I turned it on (so much so that the smoke detector immediately went off) and the kitchen sink would not drain. I spent good money on groceries, hoping to be able to cook, but ended up having to get take-out every day instead. The host did send someone to clear the clogged sink, but it was on my last full day there. There were no apologies, no concessions, just cheerful responses and requests for me to send photos and explanations of the items in need of repair. Not at all how I expected to spend my time at my vacation rental.
