Have fun with the whole family at this stylish home. Tastefully modern, yet warm and cozy. This charming home is located in beautiful, quiet and safe Des Moines WA., close to downtown and the Marina. The home offers a view of puget sound from the living room and the upstairs area. The home is just minutes from the link light rail station that gets you to the SeaTac airport and also takes you to downtown Seattle, Pike place market, and the Seattle waterfront.

Lovely place to stay

Nice house, beds were comfortable, nice fire places, layout real nice for the 4 adults we had. I would stay here again and would recommend highly.

Getaway Retreat

This home is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Even though we didn't use much of the kitchen, the host has everything you need in a kitchen. The home was very comfortable for our family. It is spacious for 8 people. We only had 4 but there is a lot of room inside and outside. It is a perfect location to the airport and other local places to visit. When we are back in the Seattle area, we will stay here again!

Seattle Wedding

Great house, very clean, kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. We all enjoyed the bunny rabbits that roamed the neighborhood. Outdoor deck with seating was a nice way to enjoy the cool evening air. Evelyn is an outstanding host! Would stay here again. Thanks Evelyn.

Fantastic house

We loved our stay. There were 6 adults and we were all comfortable. The yard was cute with juge bunnies thay we enjoyed watching hop around and at the end of the road a beautiful view of mt rainer

Nice start to our vacation

We were looking for an VRBO to use prior to our cruise and this fit the bill. It comfortably fit the 6 of us. The property was clean and neat. The area was safe and secure. The house offered comforts of home to help us feel relaxed and not stressed about always finding restaurants and potentially getting lost. The back deck was my favorite spot to just sit and relax. The communication with the owner was prompt and clear. Really appreciated the use of the house.

Beautiful updated house

This house is updated with 3 levels. The driveway is packed gravel and very large. The washer/dryer doesn’t work very well. We cleaned the dryer vents inside & outside but still took almost 2 hours to get our clothes dry. The basement is like a studio apartment. You’ll have everything you’ll need here. Would love to stay again when we’re in the Seattle area in the future.

Funny Bunny House

We had a great time at this cute rental! Tons of space to spread out and a great central location to shopping , community markets, and more. We really enjoyed the bunnies hopping around the property & neighborhood. Although you’ll hear planes overhead it is a quiet neighborhood, will definitely rent this spot again!

Great stay!

I wish there was an option to give 4.5 stars. Five stars means perfect to me and though it was close, it's hard to designate it as perfect. This is a lovely little home with everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathrooms, kitchen and living areas were very clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood felt safe. My only "complaint" is that the carpet on the stairs and at the entryway was a bit worn and dirty, but that's probably because guests didn't heed the request to take off shoes at the door. It really didn't bother us but it keeps me from giving the home a 5 star rating overall. The foosball table was a hit with my grandsons. The kids play area upstairs is geared toward younger kids (probably ages 2-6) but there is lots for them to play with. Overall it was a great place for the 5 of us to stay and explore the Seattle area for a few days before our cruise!

Comfortable setup for a great vacation

Traveled to the Seattle area to see some family and sight see. Having a home for the 7 of us to stay made things much more comfortable. We all had some space with this nicely laid out home. Lots of nice touches like toys for the younger kids and shampoo/body wash in the showers. Nice quiet neighborhood yet close enough to the city to get there in less than 30 mins. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect! Comfortable and welcoming

This house is amazing! Even more than we expected. When I booked, I dont believe the basement was pictured and it has a foosball table, which my teens loved, and a very comfortable family room plus one of the bedrooms. The beds were super comfortable. Plenty of blankets and pillows. I loved the welcoming decor too! The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. Everything seemed very new with a lot of special touches. The little playroom upstairs is perfect for families with young children. We did not utilize it, but it was adorable. We wanted a location outside of the busyness of Seattle and the drive is a bit stressful going in if you are used to small town traffic like us. But the house was perfect for us. Evelyn was an amazing host and very easy to communicate with, keeping us well updated. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Awesome property

We had a fabulous time at this property. It exceeded our expectations. This was the cleanest VRBO rental that we have ever stayed at. The property was beautiful, inside and out. We utilized both the indoor spaces and outdoor as well. It was nicely renovated and decorated. It was very comfortable and homey. The location was perfect for everything we did. We would stay here again if we venture back to Seattle. It was an awesome vacation!
