The suite is connected to the main house but fully locked off and private. You may hear normal household sounds from the living room area. The homeowners, Richard and Ruth, value guest privacy but are available if needed.

No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.

No parties or events (elopements/proposals may be considered with approval).

The host was so welcoming; they hooked up a new propane tank for us, so that the fire pit would work; the view was stunning; the neighborhood was beautiful! The host was so gracious and sent us a list of places to walk in the neighborhood, and places to eat! The apartment itself was much bigger than it looks online, and they thought of every detail! Will definitely try to book again when in Kent, visiting family! Thank you!

Anniversary getaway

This property was just perfect for my husband and I. We picked it for the price and beautiful view. We throughly enjoyed sitting outside looking at the sound while using the firepit and/or hot tub. This was so relaxing and perfect start and end to our days here. Our high light was seeing dolphins swimming in the sound. There is a telescope here we were able to use to get a perfect view of them!! This neighborhood is super quiet which was really nice. We planned on going out to eat our meals so the amenities provided here were perfect for us. Richard and Ruth were super quick to get back to us if we had any questions and were very welcoming. Their house is attached but we honestly couldn't even tell they were here. We had a great time here and would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much.

Home was easy to locate and in very nice neighborhood. Access was easy and was clean and comfortable. Was the right size for two and had what we needed for a three day stay! Pretty view and could watch otters and seals out in the bay. Thanks!

Perfection!

The pics and descriptions were perfect. Sometimes places aren’t exactly as you see them in the pics and there is a not so great surprise. Not this place. Everything was perfect and beautiful. It wasn’t crowded w signs of ”don’t do this”, and the very little signage they did have was professionally and custom made, which added to my appeal of the place. The art was true art and not some cheap crap. They had personal touches everywhere. In the mornings I’d make my coffee, open the double doors and stare at the water. The hot tub and fire pit were easy to use, while the robes made me feel very cozy. The communication was impeccable. They provided tons of ideas for things to do and eat. Wally’s Chowder House…. Is a must do. I asked about a trip to Bainbridge and they quickly provided tons of info.

Pre-cruise visit

We stayed the weekend before our cruise departed to allow for adjusting to new time zone and to see the area outside of downtown Seattle. The space was exactly as the ad described, peaceful, quiet, and convenient. Our first time staying in a room attached to someone’s house. We never heard or saw the hosts, but she always answered any texts we sent. Until next time!

Great Little Getaway

Lovely location

My son and his wife stayed here for a few nights after their wedding. They said everything was great! Their only suggestions were drinkable water that doesn’t come from the bathroom sink and a mini-fridge.

A peaceful hideaway

I stayed for 2 nights. The unit was comfortable and nicely appointed. I didn't use any of the outdoor amenities or cook, so I can't comment on those aspects. The view is gorgeous. There was some airplane noise as another guest commented, but it didn't bother me. Great communication by the hosts. I really appreciated the outdoor lights, since I arrived each night after dark.

The property is very nice. There was no propane for the fire pit or BBQ. The hot tub had way too much chlorine, it burned our eyes. The telescope was upside down as well, my husband turned it around.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying here. It was so fun to relax in the morning with the firepit and watch the boats and wildlife. Orcas and dolphins were spotted in the sound. Would definitely come again!!

Beautiful and restfull stay

Very clear directions and instructions from owner. Daily check-in by email to make sure it was all good. Loved the oceanview hot tub and the bedroom. Used the fan at night was very quiet. Would go back in a minute. Thanks for being such a great host.
